I'm 6 days away from my next WDW trip, and 4 out of your Top 5 work for me (not much into shopping, no matter what time of year). This will be my first Christmas trip since they did away with the amazing Lights of Winter in Epcot, so that area of the park is gonna look kinda empty. Ah well, still got the Osborne Lights and the MK's Main Street and Castle to make the yuletide gay!

    Hey Dan,

I said I was jealous in the article...and now that I hear you're going...yes I'm definitely jealous. Good for you! Enjoy the yuletide!! Find something holiday-ish that you've never seen before and report back.

    Hi Chris,

Sorry to add to your jealousy (OK, I'm not really sorry ) but we'll be there on December 9th for a wonderful week at WDW! I agree with all 5 of yours (we love the shopping as well!). One more you might want to consider is a trip to Fort Wilderness to see the pretty awesome decorations that the guests themselves come up with. If you haven't already done this, it is highly recommended!!

I've never seen the Ft. Wilderness decorations in person, but I have seen them featured on a Samantha Brown special a few years back. Them folks are crazy, and I'd love to see it all for myself someday!

Don't be sorry. Thousands of people are there everyday...and I'm not!!

I hate to sound sacrilege, but I still haven't made it over to Ft. Wilderness for any reason. The closest I came was on the Wilderness Lodge nature trail. We hit the Ft. Wilderness roads and turned around. I know...no, I haven't seen Hoop De Doo sorry. I also think we were at the dock once. We took a longer loop to get to the Magic Kingdom. So, I haven't seen the decorations, nor have I seen the campground itself!!

I love having something like that on my list of things to do though. Keeps me going back.

    Chris
