I'm REALLY curious on the official Disney comments on why they can only check ID for 4 and 5 day tickets at 2 turn styles. Also, are guests limited on what gates they can use at DCA?

But just at 2 gates per park, or can people use all gates at DCA? (And why only 2 at DL) What about the GC entrance? Are they 'banned' from that one because they have the audacity to actually use tickets that DL sells?

ETA: (Can you tell I'm a little peeved about this whole situation??? I'm FINE with Disney checking IDs if they can't manage to do biometrics at the DLR, though - just why limit people to specific gates when there's no technology reason to do so?)

Not to be a Grammar Cop but, in the comment under the Castle picture having snow caps now, *Now has its 'W' left out and it reads, "Sleeping Beauty's Castle no sports snow as the resort prepares for the holiday season."

just why limit people to specific gates when there's no technology reason to do so?

I think it's a staffing issue, because they appear to have leads specifically assigned to cover those gates. When we entered Saturday morning, there was no real line at all for those gates, while the lines at surrounding gates were 20-30 people long.

However, there was a bit of a "crowd" around the gates, and I'm going to assume those were the folks who had suspicious tickets and were waiting for one of the two leads I spotted to talk to them. In one situation, one member of the party had been admitted but the rest of her family had not, and they were talking through the fence while they waited for a lead.

It's much more practical to assign the leads to cover two designated gates to handle these situations, than need a lead for 20 gates if they let them enter through any gate.

For those wondering what happens if you go through just any gate with a 4-day ticket, I did observe someone try it, and they were sent to the correct line.

I don't mean to be a pest, but there is a mistake with the caption for the Wreck-It Ralph meet and greet. Currently, the caption reads;
"A variety of characters are available for photos, including Wreck-it Ralph and Sugar Rush."

The female character's name is not "Sugar Rush" that is only the name of her game, her actual name is Vanellope Von Schweetz.
