CHOC Walk in the Park – Sunday October 14. The annual fundraiser for Children's Hospital Orange County takes place before park hours in Disneyland and Disney California Adventure. The Magic Morning normally scheduled for Sunday at Disneyland will likely be rescheduled to Monday, October 15, and Disneyland will likely open at 9 a.m. to accommodate the event.
Should I take Disneyland.com's hours with a grain of salt then? The actual website says magic morning at DCA @ 9AM and opening the parks at 10AM.
I'm guessing here - but I'd put money on the CHOC Walk text being written before they switched the Sunday early hours from DL to DCA. What that means for DCA early hours on Sunday, I'm not sure.
ETA: I'm glad they're enforcing the party tickets better this year!

Happy to hear that Disney is cracking down on the Halloween event. DW and I couldn't believe how crowded it was the night we went last year.
"Although we think it's DOPEY that Pluto has been downgraded to a dwarf planet, which has made some people GRUMPY and others just SLEEPY, we are not BASHFUL in saying we would be HAPPY if Disney's Pluto would join us as an 8th dwarf. We think this is just what the DOC ordered and is nothing to SNEEZE at."
