If the answer to all of these questions is yes, then keep reading because this post is going to be the highlight of your day.
It has been a long time in the works, but on October 6, renowned artist Joey Chou will make his first appearance at Disney California Adventure park for the debut of three new Frankenweenie-inspired pieces: Victor and Sparky, A Dark Night in New Holland and Young Love.
Joey is most known for his work in visual development in animation and as an illustrator of childrens books such as its a small world, Say What and Nemos Day Off. When I talked to Joey about this new art, he shared how excited he was to have been able to work on such an amazing project, especially since he himself is such a huge fan of Tim Burton, and how he especially loved the black and white take on the film, which carries over into his own work.
Joining Joey on October 6 is none other than Executive Vice President and Executive Producer of Frankenweenie, Don Hahn, who played a pivotal role in not only the film, but in the development of this new art.
So mark your calendars, Frankenweenie fans! Meet Joey Chou and Don Hahn, October 6 from 3:30-5:30 p.m. at Off the Page in Hollywood Land in Disney California Adventure park. And if you havent seen The Art of Frankenweenie Exhibition yet, well good news – its right next door.
