    Disneyland Half Cheer Team!!

    OK here's the Scoop:

The Disneyland Half Cheer Team will be around mile 6.5, on Ball, near Ganahl Lumber.

How we plan to get there:

Drince88 and I looked at the map tonight. The route is a little out of the way but it should work fine at that hour of the morning!
We'll take Harbor Blvd to I-5 North, Exit Lincoln.
Turn Right to State College Blvd.
    Turn Right to Ball.
Park near Ball & State College & Walk to Ganahl Lumber.

We'll have the big MousePlanet banner and signs. We'll probably be arriving at about 6:00.

    Runners: LOOK FOR US!!

    Cheerleaders: COME JOIN US!!

Do I finally get an MP pin if I stop by?

Sigh... Okay, I'm reconsidering. I *really* want to go and cheer. Hmm... must ponder. I still have a feeling it is going to be too much for this pregnant bod but now I'm going to go look at the map...

The cold water was a lifesaver as I'd otherwise have run out shortly after. Thanks!

So. On the one hand, I'm not walking funny because I didn't do a half-marathon today.

On the other hand? Yeah, uhm. My throat really really hurts.

    But it was worth it.

Thank you to the cheer squad! It was a perfect spot to have some water with my gel and cool off with a nice sponge.

Thank you again! It was a great spot! Loved it! And thanks for the sign!!! It was great knowing all the signs we were holding were giving them a little bit of amusement on the course.

It was so very fun seeing you Jodi! I was a little worried when I overheard you told ADK you wanted to amputate your left leg. I'm so glad to hear you completed the course!

Ditto! My voice held out better than I thought it would. I was already funky from weird pregnancy sinus stuff I have going on. But a day or so without much voice was totally worth it! I loved being "part" of the race, with some extra sleep time.
