    Thanks, Malcon10T! You made me feel much better. This thread was starting to scare me! We've got a lot invested in this trip ($$$$) as it's my boyfriend's first visit to California.

    MOST of the issues with "not guaranteed" are with regards to bedding. The beds are not guaranteed. The GCH only has about 50 rooms with a King bed, and a limited number with a sofa. You could end up with simply 2 queens if you requested a king, or if you requested the rooms that have the sofa sleeper, you might get 2 queens and a sleeping bag/mat. If you are booking a party of 5, and want a guarantee of 3 beds, your best bet is to book 2 rooms. Never count on the sofa sleeper, unless you are willing to deal with the sleeping bag...

    Wow great replies everyone this has helped out alot and more than just me.

    Ok who was it that said they got pph for 100 a night? How did you manage that low ?

    2 yrs ago we stayed at PPH and loved it BUT that extra walk eventhough it is just across the street made us more tired and grumpy

    I called about getting a dvc room from another company last month but sadly nothing was available
