My family and I are thinking of taking a trip to Disneyland over Thanksgiving. I was wondering where any of you have eaten Thanksgiving dinner and your thought on it.
Thank you!

Most of the restaurants have some sort of Thanksgiving dinner. For Thanksgiving dinner in 2010, we ate at Blue Bayou (in POTC). They had a Thanksgiving dinner special, which DH and I both had and it was very good. Last year, we did the Thanksgiving dinner at the Grand Ballroom at the Disneyland Hotel. It was pricey ($70 something for adults), but wonderful. There is a ton of food, including the traditional Turkey Day stuff. Plus, some characters make appearances as well. We really enjoyed it and will hopefully do that again this year. Whatever you decide, just make sure to make a reservation!
ETA: The dinner a the Disneyland Hotel is a buffet. I don't think I made that clear originally.

Planning a trip to WDW (April 2013) for my first trip since I was 8!
We love Thanksgiving at the Grand Ballroom and have been going the last few years. It is a bit pricey but the food is wonderful, entertainment is top notch and you get to celebrate with Disney characters. This year, we're going to my MIL's in Denver--and as much as I want to see her, I'm already missing Thanksgiving at DLH!
We haven't been able to bring ourselves to pay that spendy ballroom dinner price for our family of four. We have enjoyed Storyteller's Cafe for Thanksgiving dinner in the past. No characters but the atmosphere is very nice, and the food is very tasty.
In 2007 we had Thanksgiving Dinner at Goofy's Kitchen. They had a lot of good options, and we got to celebrate with the characters :-)
We did the Ballroom brunch for Mother's Day. My first thought (that I asked those who had previously been) was "Is it worth the cost?" We were a family of 9. But after we enjoyed, we all agreed that we will repeat next year. I would think the Thanksgiving Dinner would be just as good.
Planning 3 trips at once...
Thank you so much for the replies. Now we have some thinking to do!
Any idea when the schedule of dinners will come out? Don't they take reservations 60 days in advance for these too? Scary to think that we are nearly 60 days till Thanksgiving? Sorry to scare people!
But Im counting down till my trip to D-Land with my fam....
I sent Disney Dining an email and they said 9/22/12.
Always planning at least one trip to Disneyland!
