On the news that the Avatar addition to Animal Kingdom is moving forward, the only misgivings I have is that, if it will replace Camp Minnie-Mickey, we might lose Festival of the Lion King completely. That show is my all-time favorite live show in all of Walt Disney World, and I'd really hate to see it go away completely. Hopefully Disney will find a new home for it somewhere in Africa, where it actually really should be. Is a "Save Festival of the Lion King" letter campaign to Disney warranted at this point?

Right with you on this, Arnold. FoTLK is the biggest draw to DAK for me - not Everest. If it closes, I'll be much less motivated to book a 2013 trip. I believe they want to relocate it, but feel they need to build the new location first before closing the old one.

Yeah, that's pretty much how I felt when they took the Festival of the Lion King Parade and moved it to Walt Disney World for that show. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE that show, but every time I see it I want to start my own letter campaign to Disney:
"Dear Walt Disney World,
Thank you for cleaning up and repainting our Lion King floats. We love what you've done with the puppets. Now glue them back together and SEND THEM BACK.
- Love and Kisses
Disneyland."
