This is one of my top two or three favorite Disneyland-area hotels, and my number one favorite walking-distance property.

What makes it your favorite? I pretty much always stay at the HoJo when I'm there.

Modern, comfortable, internet doesn't suck. Walking distance to the resort or the Toy Story lot - which makes for a nice perk on the way back. Room rates about the same as hojo in my experience.

It's not my favorite but I'd definitely take it over Hojo's if traveling without kids or when not planning on using their pool. Hojo's just doesn't work for me, for a couple of reasons (not particularly modern, noisier than I'm used to, beds not great for *me*). Great staff, good location, but that's not enough, for me.
You could read my review.
So I'm reading my bean feed...

Hojo is my favorite but my last trip they were more than Red Lion so I stayed there and while the staff wasn't as wonderful as the staff at HoJo, it was a nicer hotel. The rooms were more modern and it is on ART so that was available rather than the walk. It is a long walk though IMHO, especially with little kids.
I just checked on this rate it is full for my dates on 9/11-15, but got $109/night.
