I'm thinking about spending some time in the parks this weekend. 8/10, 8/11. I'm thinking of going straight after work this Friday to WDW and coming home on Sunday. So that gives me Fri night (with EMH!) at MK and all Saturday to do whatever I want.
So my question is...has anyone been out there this week? What are the crowds like? The local students go back to school next week so I'm hoping the parks might be less crowded this weekend. What do you guys think?

Take a peek at Marks WDW Update. Scrolling down to the bottom there is a crowd estimate done by TouringPlans.com. Looks like its going to be a busy weekend if the trend continues.
Crowds will still be rather high till after Labor Day, from my personal experience.
The search function is like the Force. It may take practice, but the more you use it, the more control you will have over it!

My own checking suggests the following weekend would definitely be quieter but probably not this weekend.
Ps. I am the other side of the the Atlantic though so really don't know!
Thanks Scooby. The truth is my Seasonal Pass comes off of the blockout dates next weekend. So the crowds would be thinner. I guess I'm just jonesin' for some Disney time.
