Glow With the Show ears locations

Has anyone experienced anything with the ears outside of World of Color or Mad T Party? I noticed the video at the Disney Parks Blog says they do something at Flo's.

In Cars Land, they are supposed to work at Flo's, Luigi's, Cozy Cones, and the stoplight.

Yes, we've played with the ears in Cars Land, and yes, they do light up differently when you're near the Cozy Cones, Luigi's and the stoplight. I don't remember them doing anything at Flo's. We tested them out for a while one night to see where the zones were, but the zones didn't seem defined. And they didn't stop even when we were pretty far away - various of our hats were blinking with the different Cars Land areas even when we were on Buena Vista Street. The only way to re-set the ears is to turn them off and on again.

Are these ears still available for purchase? Where? How much? Can they be personalized?

The ears are available in many stores (you can't walk through the shops on BVS without seeing them) and, I assume, at WoD. They are sold at Embarcadero and Seaside Souvenirs (heavily promoted in the WOC area for obvious reasons!). They are $25.00 (total, I think) without the AP discount. For APs, there is a deal that includes the ears, a matching lanyard, and a matching pin for $40.00 before any discount (available for sure at Seaside Souvenirs and Off the Page, I think, i.e. not available everywhere) . The lanyard and pin can be purchased separately by passholders for around $14.00. The ears are made of a neoprene like fabric and cannot be personalized.

Hi! The ear hats are definitely sold at WoD in Downtown Disney. I bought mine last week! Haven't used them yet, but excited about it!
