I call that a bargain. The best I ever had. The best I ever haaaaaad!
Wow! That is QUITE a bargain!
Think of it:
Get 10 people together.
Everybody chips in $100. (Well, $120, but you get the idea.)
Now you got $1,000. (Okay, $1,200, but you get the idea.)
Now you've got VIP service, for (a little over) $100 out of your own pocket.
That sounds like a bargain to me, when a DL ticket is nearly $100.
Reservations, all day long.
Fast Pass access, all day long.

If you want the VIP fastpass access, you would need to do the premium plan of $275/hour (off season). With the 6 hour minimum that's at least $1650 total, divided by however many people you have.

Some other positives about going VIP is the tour guides are great at "picking up" and throwing things out for ideas. Example, if you aren't sure what you want to do next, they always have an idea. They "eavesdrop", and if they hear someone mention something, they tuck that away and it may come up in the near future. My son was bringing in my granddaughter, and our guide had gone to meet them. He mentioned her favorite character is Donald Duck, and the guide detoured to take them by Donald near Cove Bar before catching up to us. Great way for them to start the day.
