It's a PURRRR (especially when they're not actually competing for prizes, like this time)!
Don't let having one group throw you-all for a loop. They'll have the same amount of time, and the same quests to do! And even having gone to DCA since 2001 isn't going to be a huge help on this one! My crystal ball says a lot of teams are going to be saying "I know I saw that SOMEWHERE... Now where was it?"

Captain Jack and the Sparrows will be there! Originally the Fantamic Four (apparently copycated, sorry about that!) But since there are only 3 of us, we decided it wouldn't work anyway. Thanks! I've already been reading the tips, etc since we've never done this; we are pretty excited about it!

For the new teams, and those who feel intimidated (why? We're all just here to have fun and curse at the evil genius of the MA writers), check out the stickys for team tips and ideas for what you can't live without. For those of you who have them, please add to the tips. I know that all of the good ideas aren't sitting there already! Just ask the New Orleans Squares (although smoking the D23 event has to be a great leadup to MA . . . we'll see you there once we move back to CA very soon), sitting on two wins.
Anyone out there doing a road trip (well, sorta . . .) to get to MA Road Trip like the Pride? Looking forward to seeing everyone there.

Lost Falls Expedition is ready to go. The women of our team have agreed to ask for all directions on this road trip because everyone knows men will never ask for help when they are lost!

Club 34 signing in! We'll be the usual crew of Janis, hubby Aaron, teen daughter Kim, and cousin Lora. We've only done one event at DCA and it was rough for us, so hopefully this one will be better.
Team "Club 34" -
1st place Family Basic in MouseAdventure Musical (Spring 2013) - top score in all of Basic!
2nd place Basic in The MouseAdventure Zone (Fall 2011)

I play for the Naboombu All-Stars
MouseAdventure Road Trip: Roll Call! (September 30th)
Naboombu All-Stars are ready to put the petal to the metal. After winning basic at Card Games, I asked the three guys on the team if we could try Advanced Division in the Fall (I asked this about three minutes after we won), and they all yelled at me in unison... NO! Now we are competing in one division for Road Trip. Tee Hee. I really had nothing to do with it guys.
No shilly-shallying, no dilly dallying, let's have a drink on it now!
Mouseadventure Card Games - Naboombu All-Stars - 1st place (Basic Returning)
Mouseadventure Zone - Naboombu All-Stars - 4th place (Basic Returning)

Maybe not, but I know you're happier about it than we are.

We made sure and set the ground rules when 2 sisters added to our team of 2 (so it was me and my 3 sisters for one event, most events have just been me and one sister): If you need something to drink or eat (or to use the facilities) - speak up: We don't want you crabby. And (since we were in the Studios - and you'll be in DCA) that includes beer.* We have X,Y,Z in the backpack, so just yell if you want some of that, too. I think that was it for the rules. We did provide them game materials from a previous game we'd played to look over. And we 'studied' some together (the 2 newbies didn't have as long in Florida) pointing out things that 'would make a great quest' - and we've gotten something right in that category every WE game we've played! I think just about every game, too, we had seen the item in the days before, but couldn't re-find it (like Bess and Jess on Mainstreet in Disneyland -- we'd visited them THE DAY BEFORE!)
And we really do strive for the 'goals' in my avatar.
*We did get one or two beers to share during the game, and one drink each on the way back to turn in our packets. Oh, and we stopped to buy lightsabers before turning in, too! That's going to be hard for the teams doing the next MA:WE, because the Magic Kingdom is dry!!!

We are coming from Utah, having moved there several years ago. We never missed a MouseAdventure when we lived in Anaheim and we never miss one now!

Team "The Good, The Bad, and The Kronk" are signed up and ready! It will only be the two of us this time, but we're also celebrating our first anniversary by staying at the Grand Californian that weekend! Going to be a fan-freaking-tastic way to celebrate!!! I feel a tradition starting!
Happily ever after
