I made Mousekeeping envelopes. Was inspired by Tink's photos on her pre-trip report

Canceled Coral Reef reservation and replaced it with Les Chefs de France.

I would love to start packing...but the kids would get too suspicious. LOL! But, I want to start my print outs without them seeing.

I bought a great summer dress on sale for $39 for our dinner at California Grill I LOVE to get dressed up for dinner. Plus it has an elastic waste, perfect for large Quantities of food.

I approved my flight itinerary change. The airline insisted the schedule change be approved. I am a giving person, so I said yes.

My flight to WDW will be ten minutes earlier. My flight home will be three minutes later.

    See, I can be flexible.

Just adjusted some things for my December '12 trip. I'm only there 3 nights, and I want to see IllumiNations twice, the MK for fireworks and the beautiful lighting on the castle, and the Osborne lights at the Studios. I just worked it out to see the Osborne lights shortly after sunset, go to Narcoosee's in the GF for dinner, and then go into the MK for most of a Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. Yeah, it'll cost a bit, but I'll be able to see all that I want to. I haven't been back at Christmas time for several years, ever since they stopped with the Lights of Winter in Epcot (BOOOOO to Disney for that one!), and I'm really looking forward to it!

That actually sounds like a good plan, Dan. Sometimes a little extra cash in order to see everything is exactly the thing! I wish they would bring back the Lights of Winter. I only got to see them once.

Working hard for that next WDW trip! December 2013

They were not only incredible to stand under and gawk up at, but you could see them from all around the World Showcase Lagoon. They were a HUGE part of my Christmas vibe, and I was saddened by their demise more than just about any attraction that's ever been shuttered. I just don't buy the explanation that the control system was outdated and un-fixable. Yeah, maybe it was outdated, but how hard would it be to re-string the arches with new lights and use a new control system? Heck, my cousin has a Radio Shack brain on his Christmas lights that would easily run the LoW arches. No, they just gave up and went for the financial savings, at the expense of a very important part of the Epcot Christmas presentation. Very very uncool, Disney!

I packed the first suitcase that holds everything apart from the clothes! Weighed in at 20 kilos and could have been 23 so it's so far so good!

It dawned on me that I am due at Disneyworld two weeks tomorrow. I'd better start doing some planning. Actually, I can "wing" it at WDW, it's the 1500 mile drive accross four states, that scares me. I was glad Robin's bought a first aid kit. I need to put some tools in the car, not that I know what to do with them!!

Where are you starting from, Larry, that you only have 4 states and 1500 miles?

I believe the answer is "Texas". Not certain where in Texas, though.

So, I started my exercise/fitness regimin for my fall trip. Want to be able to keep up with two teens and my seriously fit (though over ten years my senior!) sister. In fact, I'm more worried about keeping up with her than the boys!

But then that's Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida. I guess if you don't count either Texas or Florida, that's 4.

Larry, Wave to me when you go past the Causeway exit on I-10 or I-12 (It might be called Hwy 190 on I-12) in the New Orleans area! (I can't imagine you would be on any other Interstate than those. If you're going I-10, I can give you directions to a 'not far off the interstate, but not the original location' of Cafe Du Monde for Beignets and cafe au lait! (I can give you directions to the original, too, but it's a little farther off the Interstate)

And way to go ons tarting the training, Codewoman!

I called the Beach Club and made a room request for a room with a day bed. I decided not to get greedy and ask for a full balcony too. I'm hoping a single request may be easier to try to accommodate. Cross your fingers for me (or await a trip report full of bickering children at bedtime) ;(

I got a great bathing suit as a steal of a deal and called Disney Visa to see how many rewards dollars I have racked up since May. I even impressed myself with my strategic purchases I also drove out to the Disney Store during my errands today to pick up the Tink shirt I wanted because it went on sale. I then promptly added it to the growing pile of clothes on my suitcase...ready to jump in and go!

Photopass+ voucher received and put with other travel docs. I am now going to 'do something non-Disney'. I'm starting to obsess too much. We still have 78 days, for goodness sake!

Since DH took the DD's back to school shopping, I took advantage of the opportunity to print out the itinerary's so they wouldn't see them. It was good timing!!!

Just picked up 2 WDW gift cards for the DD's, too! 2 weeks tomorrow! The suitcases will be coming out soon!!! Ahhh!
