Pop and AoA? [Bridge between the two resorts]

Does anyone know if they're letting people walk from Pop Century to Art of Animation and vice versa? I though I read that the bridge would be open that crosses the lake but I'm not sure. I really would like to be able to go over there to shop and try the new food court. Thank you

Last I heard, they were going to open it. I am not sure if it is already open--probably depends on the construction. GREAT idea to walk over and try the court!

Working hard for that next WDW trip! December 2013

When you go, I'm curious if they've renamed the bridge. It was the 'generation gap' bridge - back when it was planned to be a Pop CENTURY resort.

I was there on Friday night and yes the bridge between the two resorts is open.

I also noticed that the bus stops are covered. Both pools are also gated and require your room key to enter the pool area. I loved this! I wish more Disney pools had this.

Thank you! We were all booked at the little mermaid rooms when free dining came out and the savings to switch we're about $300!! My mom and I had just finished a college visit and that would pay for a kit I need! So of course we switched, the rooms will be there for next time but I still want the cool merchandise they have!
