Monorail Question

Happy Summer, Mousketeers! We'll be visiting Disneyland this September 20 - 24, with our park hoppers being for the 21st through the 23rd. We'll be staying at the Disneyland Hotel. Question....that first evening we're at the Park, does anyone know if it's possible to ride the Monorail on a round trip, and not enter the park? It used to be at one time you could ride it round trip to Tomorrowland and back, and pay a small fee without entering the Park.

Nope. They scan tickets before you enter the platform.

Yeah, they used to reserve the tail cone for that and effectively "locked" you in there so you couldn't exit in Tomorrowland. Unfortunately, that's been discontinued for some time now.

I remember going to the Disneyland Hotel for Fantasy Waters show & riding the Monorail loop.
