I'm not sure if this thread is helping you at all, as everyone has their own favorites. I don't do the dining plan, so I'm not sure what's 1 or 2 points. But here's a list -

California Grill in the Contemporary Hotel - the best restaurant on the planet!

Coral Reef in Epcot - food and service are a little inconsistent (usually excellent), but the view of the aquarium is incredible.

Bistro de Paris in Epcot (upstairs) - very elegant without feeling stuffy, incredible food served by real French waiters.

'Ohana in the Poly - come hungry, as this is all you can eat. As good as the appetizers are, try not to stuff yourself with them, as the meats on the skewers are really amazing!

San Angel Inn - this used to be so-so, but they've really improved their menu in the past year or so. And the atmosphere - a night-time plaza under a pyramid and volcano - just can't be beat.

We mostly do signatures but we LOVE Raglan Road in Downtown Disney. Outstanding food and great entertainment. Lots of locals in attendance (a good sign, IMO) and fun for all ages.

People don't always think of it because of the location but we try to go every trip.

And yes, it's on the plan! Good, fresh honest food. Worth the trip.

    Counting down:

    5. 50's Primetime Cafe' - it's mostly the atmosphere, being I'm a very retro person and the menu is comfort food
    4. Columbia Harbour House - MK - upstairs for dining and the lobster roll is pretty good! (this is counter service)
    3. San Angel Inn - Again, can't beat the atmosphere. Menu a little expensive, but very tasty.
    2. Garden Grill - LOVE the atmosphere and how the restaurant slowly turns and your view keeps changing - the menu is family style
    1. Kona Cafe' - something about this place we return over and over. We just love it there! The menu is great and so are the desserts!

    Oops forgot my honorable mention:
-Liberty Tree Tavern is our favorite sit down in MK. Location is great and having a nice sit down in the park can be a good way to rest aching feet.

I loved the gentle and chilled out nature of the character interaction here. I'm sad they did away with that. I haven't eaten there since they took the characters away.

One one credit? That's tough for me since we never do the dining plan.

    1. Saana
    2. La Hacienda de San Angel
    3. Rose and Crown (Really? Nobody chose this?)
    4. 50's Prime Time (more for the fun for the kids, not so much the food)
    5. Whispering Canyon for dinner

I must admit that I still have a long LONG list of placed I need to try still. Raglan Road is one of them. It seems like every time we go to DtD we end up at T-Rex for the kids. I'm finally trying some new ones this upcoming trip in December. Looking forward to Via Napoli, O'hana (dinner, we've done breakfast), Be Our Guest and Hoop Dee Do Review. Not bad that we're trying four new restaurants on a six night stay!

    It's not an Irish restaurant - it's 'Ohana -- not O'hana!

Today if I had five TS to book they would be:

Teppan Edo (lunch or dinner, both the same)
    'Ohana (dinner)
    Crystal Palace (lunch)
    1900 Park Fare (breakfast)
    Boma (dinner)

    Yum. Sounds good!

    1) Le Cellier -- for overall ambience and high quality of food preparation and taste, as well as "niceness" of the Canadian staff;
    2) Yak and Yeti -- for the okay food, the nice decor, and especially for the best dessert of all time, the mango pie!!!!
    3) Sci-Fi Dine-In -- for the total cool-factor and one of the best milkshakes you'll ever have.
    4) Kona Cafe (for dinner; never been for breakfast) for the bread -- think huge yeast roll -- and the bananas foster creme brulee;
    5) Tutto Italia -- for the feel of total immersion (feels like you're literally in Italy) and the high quality of the food.

Yikes! And BOMA; we haven't been in a couple of trips because my mom doesn't like buffets, but if not for the Mango pie at Yak and Yeti, BOMA would be an easy number 2.

    1999 - Coronado Springs (1 night); 2003 - DL's Paradise Pier (5 nights); 2005 - All Star Music (7 nights); 2007 - POP Century (10 nights); 2008 - DL's Paradise Pier (5 nights); 2009 - POP Century (10 nights); 2010 - Dolphin (2 nights); 2011 - POP Century (7 nights); June 8-18, 2012 - POFQ (10 nights); next trip,June 18-22, 2013 - POFQ (5 nights). If I'm not at Walt Disney World or Disneyland, I'm not really happy.

    In no particular order:

    Portobello's
    Boma
Chef Mickey's / Cape May (Yes, this one is kinda of a tie for a character meal.)
    Garden Grill
    Cali Grill

Give me your top 5 table service locations.

Kona- for breakfast, but lunch and dinner are great too!

R&C- love sitting out on the patio for dinner and watching illuminations. We also really enjoy going to the pub and having a English Bulldog and drink.

Ohana- dinner, yum! But make sure you go hungry.

Sci-fi- we love the atmosphere here and the food is pretty good too!

WCC- we've done breakfast and dinner. But I would have to say this is a must with a big group.

the sushi bar at the Poly. I guess this isn't technically a sit down restaurant but its another favorite!

    In no particular order:

Sci-Fi (we go every trip, try the BLT soup -yum!)
Biergarden (don't go everytime, as be are not buffet people, but this one is pretty good)
Chefs de France (always good, but it can be a bit crowded. I've promised myself a trip upstairs to the Bistro next trip)
San Angel Inn (so neat inside there!)
Liberty Tree (never had a bad meal there)

I will say our absolute favorite place to get a good meal in all of WDW is the Yachtsman Steak House. But I think it's 2 credits if it's even still on the dining plan. I can't recommend it enough.

As noisy and crowded as Chefs usually is, the Bistro is spacious and quiet, elegant without feeling stuffy, and incredible food and service!

That is what I understand. I plan on making ADR's or the next trip there.

Runnindisney - have you decided on any new places you to try yet?

My sister and I were all set to try the Bistro this trip (neither of us have been) - and it's under refurbishment

So we're going to Chef's instead - which I've visited but my sister has not.
