But the 1980s had the Two Correys, Valley Girls, Hair Bands, threats of nuclear war, and the Queen and King of the 1980s Madonna, and Michael Jackson doing the moonwalk. Life was good

Really enjoying The Following. I'm not quite sure what the payoff is going to be, but the ride has been crazy.

Got to agree with you on that. I wonder if its irony or coincidence that its coming up on the 20 year anniversary of siege in Waco Texas. Its weird how a lot of dates in history coincide with that date.

I wonder if the show was originally scheduled to air on Fridays with that being the planned season finale similar to ABC's FlashForward.

I had mindless TV on while I was doing some work this evening. I switched to E! and just left it there.
I paid enough attention to know What Would Ryan Lochte Do is a waste of air time, BIG TIME!

Anyone else watching Scandal? The ending of the last episode just tore my heart out. I think I'm liking that sub-plot and back story much more than the 'main' plotline!

I've recently gotten into Doctor Who. I started with the Ninth Doctor, and I'm halfway through the first season with Ten. I'm hooked!

I can't get enough of Men At Work. It is SO funny and it has me laughing from start to finish.

Another one that I just caught the end of on Friday and had to DVR the reruns is a show on Animal Planet called Treehouse Masters. Its hosted & run by tree house builder & master Pete Nelson. It's like Extreme Makeover Home Edition, but without all the extra hoopla. Clients call Pete up to build them a fancy tree house that they have the dreams (and the wallet) to put together. The family doesn't get sent on any vacation and most projects can take longer than a week. And Pete is kinda like Ty Pennington, only not as high strung or loud. But still very funny & energetic. One episode was for a GRAND tree house in Waco Texas on a huge piece of property. This past week's episode was for a couple in Huntington Beach California who wanted an Irish Cottage, and let me tell you, Pete & his crew did a fantastic job. A round one room tree house (the one in Waco had a living room, full kitchen, full bathroom, AND a bedroom with a small loft above the bedroom) with a live green roof (a lawn basically complete with irrigation system and a little fireplace & patio. The couple went to Ireland and wanted a piece of Ireland for their backyard and Pete did not disappoint.

The next customer wants a "spa in a tree." Not a jacuzzi, but a mini spa (massage, pedicures, etc) in a tree. Should be interesting. And its also in Texas.

I saw the ads for that treehouse show. What's the animal tie-in?

Picked up the DVD's of both seasons of "F TROOP" Absolutely loved this show as a kid and found that I still enjoy it just as much. I had such a crush on Larry Storch (Corporal Agarn). Having a blast watching it again.
