Warehouse 13 is back and this makes me happy. I can only hope it gets better treatment than Eureka did.

Several friends rave about Breaking Bad. It's currently in its fifth season. I figured I'd start from the beginning so I rented season 1 (finished it) and am hooked. So now I have about 40 episodes to go to get caught up.

The show's themes - about sickness, dying, treatment, morality, the law, family, sacrifice, judgment and hypocrisy - are so subtle yet play out perfectly. It's a well executed show.

Your attention, please. The Disneyland Limited now leaving for a grand circle tour of the Magic Kingdom. Aboaaard!

We needed a fantasy break over the weekend. DS16 was having trouble finding something to watch so I suggested Heroes (on Netflix). He loved it!

Deadliest Catch fans I have a question. While watching After The Catch last night I noticed that Jonathan was on oxygen. Does anybody know why?

    Yes.
He got thrown BAD from a bull or something he was riding for one of the segments 'in Colorado' and broke some ribs and some other stuff.
He hasn't made it into all of the episodes of After the Catch because of it.

Drince, thanks for the info. It was disconcerting to see him on oxygen. Especially since we lost Phil. I was really worried.

    No problem.

When he first came on the show first broadcast on Tuesday, they did replay the bucking that caused the injuries. He popped RIGHT up from it and he didn't react as if it was that bad! If you watch like I do most of the time (reading or doing something else) it probably wouldn't have caught your full attention.

Olympics and nothing but. Cleared all the old recorded stuff I was never going to watch off the DVR to make room. Trying to keep up or at least not get too far behind, but it's difficult with three to four days' worth of coverage broadcast every day.

I did the same thing, Andrew (cleared out stuff I wasn't going to watch) - but still have some series that I don't want to miss. Since I have two DVRs, I should really move the 'other stuff' to the other DVR and keep the main one on Olympics only.

I also divided up some of the showings in 2-3 hour chunks (which I had to do manually) so I could at least free up room after I'd watched part of a 7 hour broadcast! Will definitely do that for tonights prime-time as well- WAY too late to stay up for this working gal!

I thought about recording the few things I'm interested in but decided to just watch the archives at NBCOlympics.com. Most of them are much improved by not having announcers (there are still graphics, though).

Lately, I have only been watching Food Network, but if DH is home, we watch Flying Wild Alaska, Storage Wars or Sons of Guns.

Once the fall season starts, the list expands!

Some earlier posts mentioned Dance Moms Miami, the only reason I watched one episode of that show is that they competed at my school, and used my classroom as a dressing room. The day after the filming, I came in, found a mess, all my things rearranged, desks missing, glitter on the carpet etc. So I decided to watch to see what they did. On the show, there were wine bottles on my book shelf (a HUGE no-no on a school campus!), and way too much drama for me! My students got a kick out of it, but we all agreed that there was way more yelling in the room in one episode of the show than there had been in the entire school year!

Okay- I am officially a total geek. I got all teary when Nia got the Most Improved Scholarship on Dance Moms.

Why do people go on The Amazing Race without bothering to learn how to drive a stick shift?

I started watching The Week the Women Went. It is pretty interesting! I recorded the 2 episodes that had already aired and got to watch them today. The fathers/husbands/boyfriends all seem so sweet and they are dealing with so many issues!

Enjoyed the first season of The Newsroom and just got caught up on Royal Pains. For whatever reason, I don't watch it weekly but find myself watching that show 4 or 5 episodes at a time.

Counting down the hours to Doctor Who on Saturday.

Just discovered Downton Abbey. First season on Netflix instant. Now waiting for season two on DVD.

I'm enchanted. The part with "The Turk" was hysterical!
