Mickey's Halloween party and regular DL guests
My family and I are planning a trip to Disneyland the last weekend of September. I just noticed that it will be the first Mickey Mouse Halloween party of the season that Friday. How will this affect regular Disneyland guests? Will there be certain "regular" attractions of DL that will not be accessible unless with a halloween ticket purchase? My kids are too small to fully enjoy the Halloween party, so we are not considering purchasing tickets for it. Any insight would be appreciated. TIA!

Happiness is that smile
In years past, they let the hard ticketed party going folk into the park about 3 hours early then they 'close' the park to the regular guests at the start of the party. If you don't have a wrist band you aren't allowed to ride any of the attractions nor trick or treat. However, until the official start time of the event all attractions/restaurants/shops are open to all guests.
Life is too short to wake up with regrets ~So love the people who treat you right
Forget about those who don't ~ Believe everything happens for a reason.
If you get a chance, take it If it changes your life, let it ~Nobody said life would be easy,
they just promised it would most likely be worth it~ remember, Sometimes Miracles Hide

Once 7:00 hits you will be asked to leave. Prior to that you will notice an increase of people after 4.

Thanks for the heads up. I didnt realize the park would close early. That kinda sucks for us. I guess we could always head over to DCA.

Also, the fireworks on party nights (Halloween Screams) are exclusive to the party. The fireworks on other nights are different (Remember Dreams Come True).

It's also a good opportunity during your vacation to make it an early night. If the kids are too young for the Halloween party, an early night would probably do you all some good.

Keep in mind that there will probably be a lot of people that will do the same thing. At one of the parties I went to last year I was on the train at the Main Street station as people without tickets for the party were leaving Disneyland, and I'd say about 95% of them headed straight across to DCA..... The gates were jammed. So if you're going to cut over to DCA, maybe do it about an hour before the party start time and maybe beat the crowds.
