    Nickelodeon Hotel

Not really a Universal question, but has anyone ever stayed at the Nick hotel in Orlando? My boys have been begging, mostly based on the mere sight of the characters plastered all over the hotel as we drive by on the Magical Express bus on the way to Disney all these years. So, this summer, I have 2 nights booked before we head over to the Caribbean Beach for 7 nights. I have no plans to venture off of the hotel grounds. We'll get there on Friday night, hang by the pools with them on Saturday, have dinner there and then check out the next morning.

    Any thoughts?

    Chris

I have a friend who lives in the Tampa area and he would take his kids to the Disney parks around their birthdays every year. Well, one year a few years back they stayed at the Nick Suites for his son's birthday and they never even made it to a Disney park at all! The kids practically lived in the pool the entire time and really loved it, so I'm guessing your family will love it too!

    Thanks Pammer,

That's a nice endorsement. I had no intention of going to Disney from the Nick hotel. I couldn't stay off property and visit the parks. I want the full effect. We'll only be at Nick for two nights. I figured we'd see everything the hotel and pool had to offer and then...head into the Disney bubble for a week.
