Fantasmic [What time to queue, where is wheelchair seating?]

Talking with my wife and she would like to see Fantasmic when we are at DHS on Dec. 4th. I just looked at the calendar and it is showing at 6:30 pm. We will have 9 people in our group and my MIL will be in a wheel chair. What time should we show up to get seats and is there a different area that we need to go to to get seating for my MIL?

I don't know and I don't care if It's a Small World. It's a nice day when you wake up in Disneyland.

You will be able to all go together through the queue (which is a VERY long and winding road....sing it, Beatles fans!). There is a reserved section for those with mobility issues--they'll point you in the right direction. That's a relatively (and I use the term loosely) quiet week, so it won't be mobbed, but expect to see people standing in line a few hours before the show. I think you'll be ok about 45 minutes before, but hopefully others will give us a few more opinions.

The general rule, like what Tina mentioned, is 45 mins before, maybe even 60 mins before. 30 mins would be cutting it short in most cases.

This is especially the case on nights with only one showing.

The search function is like the Force. It may take practice, but the more you use it, the more control you will have over it!

Hopefully, no one minds if I tag onto this thread since this question is also about Fantasmic but on July 24th. I am going to DHS next week and plan to see the 9pm Fantasmic. Does anyone know if it is allowed to stay inside the theater after the show to watch the 2nd show at 10:30pm or do they clear out the theater between shows?

    Thanks for the help.

I would think they clear the theater, but nothing to stop you from getting in line for the second show. You could always hang back and ask, though.

The second show will be quieter, but you will have to queue again. The wheelchair area is on the main entryway at the top of the auditorium, you will have no problem all sitting together. Have fun, it's a great show.

The top three rows of the Fantasmic! theater are reserved for people with disabilities.

The top row has cutouts between benches so two wheelchairs or ECVs can be next to each other, and then a few seats next to each chair for members of the party.

The next two rows below the top are also marked as accessible seating. They are intended for people accompanying the person in a chair where there is not enough room for them in the top row. They are also used by people with mobility problems not in a chair who can manage one or two steps.

But I live less than 20 miles from Walt Disney World! And work there part-time.
