At the end of our 10 night trip, we're planning to switch resorts. My husband will be joining us for the last 4 nights, and using it as a total relaxation time with is doing his favorites, Raglan Road, Blizzard Beach, Animal Kingdom, a pool day. The girls and I will already have been there days prior.
So, do you do OKW, which we've never been to or stayed at or AKL which we've never stayed at but eaten at Boma? It would be a Savannah room if we choose this.

AKL. Especially if you don't have a car. OKW you will have to drive or use the bus to get to the main pool if your not in a building close enough.
OKW - love this resort! Plus it would be great for you to try somewhere new. And you can always go to AKL just to eat at Boma!

AKL. While I really like OKW I think AKL has better features especially food options.
I don't think a savannah room is necessary since there are many viewing spots throughout. But it is cool waking up to some cool animal near your room.
The search function is like the Force. It may take practice, but the more you use it, the more control you will have over it!
I've done both and for me it's a no brainer AKL! OKW is nice but I just feel AKL has so much more to offer. Really where else are you going to stay where you have a savannah in your backyard?
I have to agree with GusMan it is very nice to have more food options as well.

AK vote from me. Much more entertaining for your children, much better food options for you.
We just stayed AKL The last part of our trip savanna arshsa(sp) view. it was so worth it! Everything was close , fun to sit outside and animal watch and the service was great! Loved the AKL!
On you next trip we'll spend the whole trip there!
