Thanks for the info about the stairs at RSR. I hadn't realized they had those - I just figured it would be set up like Test Track where you walk under the track to exit to make it more inherently accessible.

It's just like Midway Mania - you have to go up a flight of stairs and cross a "bridge" over the track to exit.

I'm walking in the 2012 Disneyland Half Marathon in honor of two incredible Lymphoma survivors in my life: Gramma Jan and my friend Michele. If blood cancers have touched your life, please consider a donation to my walk fund to help fund better cures.

    15 minutes from Disneyland!

I really don't understand why they keep designing rides with stairs to climb at the end. It makes the ride "non-accessible" to many who otherwise would consider it accessible. I am glad to see the alternate loading/unloading for Luigi's--getting in the tire was not bad--getting out? That was a different story. RSR accessible loading really works well, however, I would caution people with knee mobility issues that the side seats (at least in the front seat) have limited range. Luckily I was in the middle front seat and was fine. Someone else (MamaSilva maybe) indicated that the back seat was tight all around.

One question I can't find an answer for and maybe someone knows: if you use single rider or Fastpass lines, can you request the accessible loading? Or are you only allowed into the accessible loading area if you are coming from the stand-by queue?

If I go down, I'm going down fat and full.

I used the single rider line while in an ECV. Answer: Yes, you can use the accessible loading from single rider.
