    DTD/Resort buses...when?

When do the buses between DTD and the resorts start/stop? I'm assuming they run pretty late. Not sure how early they start though.

We will be staying in DTD and while our resort has shuttles to the parks that run every 20-30 minutes, I'm not sure how early they start and stop. If we have late dinner reservations (after park closing) I should be able to just take the bus to DTD, right?

ETA: I think it's just the 2 of you on your October trip. Here's some interesting reading for you, including why you want to definitely forget renting a car (even if it's affordable) where you are staying on this trip. http://www.mousesavers.com/dtdisneyhotels.html#wyndham

Thanks. It is just the 2 of us (and he will be at the hotel in meetings until 4/4:30 most days), so no car rental for us.

Taxis are always an option too. They aren't expensive and sometimes the busses at night coming from DTD can get pretty crowded and I have to say people (especially on the West Side) are ruthless late at night if there is no line being formed. I like that there are queue lines at the theme parks. DTD is a free for all and it really stinks.

At night we would be going TO Downtown Disney to head home. I heard from the hotel and their buses run every 30 minutes from a hour before park opening until 2 hours after. If we decide to do a late dinner at the resort (we have one for Cali Grill) then we will just take the bus from the Contemporary to DTD.

Buses from the resorts to DTD do run rather late usually up to 30 mins past the latest venue at DTD. Most dining and restaurants are open till 11 or 11:30 at the least.
If you are running later than that, a taxi might be one of your better bets.

The search function is like the Force. It may take practice, but the more you use it, the more control you will have over it!
