Did the boys have any trouble steering the tires when they rode by themselves in one tire?

    Nope!

The people I saw having trouble were adults who were ROCKING instead of LEANING. Rocking back and forth in a really fast pattern even. When I commented about it to a cast member, she said "You'd be surprised. It happens all the time."

They're very easy to steer if you just follow directions and lean. The other problem is when people lean in opposite directions. So if you have children who want to disagree about which direction to go, it won't work. If everyone moves together it's not hard, in our experience. They do a little "training" with the guests in line and have signs up as well as directions in the little activity guide.

Most kids want to to try to grab the balls, which would usually involve leaning in the same direction, towards the balls.

I think my nephews would have a blast in Cars Land. One is soon-to-be 9, the other 5. The five-year-old LOVES Cars. Hopefully they will make it there sometime in the future.
