Are any of the Disney Hotels (ie Grand Californian) offering fast passes for RSR during check in? I remember them offering them to us for WOC when we checked in at the Grand two years ago. It was a "perk" for staying on the property.

No, not that I've heard of. They aren't currently publically offering any special fast passes (like they did last year and earlier this year) or perks aside from now offering "Extra Magic Hours". So, if you stay at the Grand on M/W/F DCA is opened @ 7 a.m. to hotel guests only (all hotels) presumably via the hotel entrance. Someone did report that they opened the RSR Fast Pass machines at 7:30, which is 30 minutes before public open time. Don't know if that is a fluke or will continue to happen.

On Father's Day they dropped the rope at 7:30am for everybody but with the Extra Magic Hours starting that may have already come to an end. We were in Disneyland Monday and got a later start so I didn't notice what was going on across the Esplanade.

We did the early entry for GCH and yes you can use the hotel entrance. We were advised to show up around 6:15 to get in line, which we did and were 4th in line. By 6:30 there was a decent line and after that it grew exponentially.
I can't ride RSR so I took everyone's passes and went to the FastPass line. They did open the line at 7:30 when I was there (though on another day, it seemed closer to 7:50, so not sure what official protocol is.).
I just asked last week when I made my reservations. She said NO. Just the early entry. :-)
Just updating that they are opening the FP lines at 8 a.m. but the "front" of the line is the hotel guests. I honestly think it's a waste of time to just line up shortly after 7 a.m. to wait almost an hour to get Fast Passes and not use the hour doing other stuff. We got in the Fast Pass line at 7:57 a.m. and used the other 30 minutes to go on Luigi's and Maters with minimal wait. We had a 5 minute wait getting in via the Grand at about 7:10ish.
