Keep that up and you're gonna ruin my affinity for stretch pants sightings at WDW!

I usually go with the beer and wine, no mixers or slushies anyway.

Saw two older women, in 2010 I believe, all over a young CMs. I saw them 3 times that day and they would be flirting and hanging all over any male CM that looked their way. At one point I was behind them on the bridge by France and they were smack talking about one of their friends. They sounded like 2 HS girls. They were HAMMERED. I was so embarrassed for them!
Anyway, I have some pictures of the pours. I will post them in a second.

Here is a picture of a Sam Adams festival beer and a cosmo slush. The beer is a larger than the others for a little more money but you get to keep the mug!

You know, if you're willing to pay for the model's transportation and accommodations, she just might be persuaded to recreate that pose for you!! I'm just guessing here at the minimums for that!!!

I'm afraid to ask since you're so young, but how old were these older ladies?

Ack! I'm not one of those. (btw...1 month from today I will be closer to 30 than 20
) I see 60 as young. I would say early to mid 70's. My grandmas' age. So in my head I kept seeing my grandmas doing that. It was just so wrong!
My favorite was when I was at my first food and wine festival in 2006 and I saw women that age wearing stilettos but had walkers. I was cracking up. I can't even walk in stilettos!

Whew. It wasn't me then...
JK 60 is young to me too. The older I get, the younger those "upper" numbers sound!

No, you were one of the younger ones doing the World Showcase Stumble? Airfare dropped again today, so I need to ask for the time off so my boss can give me crap about going to WDW again...

One thing we learned, do not plan a TS dinner. After sampling food all day around WS, you can't enjoy your dinner!

Based on a response to a comment on one of the Disney blogs, they SHOULD have full information out about the items you have to register for/pay extra for by the end of July - and then registration opens Aug 14.

Airfare dropped from over $450 to $300, so I now have my plane ticket! Now, need to get the killer resort deal working... And if one of my brother's friends can get us the military passes, we'll really be set.

I don't know if escargot will be on the menu again this year. I am cruising on Royal Caribbean in 1 month so I am on a cruise forum and they do not have escargot on pretty much every cruise line due to a massive shortage. The have had Escargot Bourguignons at the France stand for awhile now, but I wouldn't be surprised if they pulled it this year.
It's funny because I always said 'I will try it next time' and I never did. I have had it on cruises and I do love it so I am a little sad it won't be on the menu for the cruise and F&W. People are actually saying that they aren't cruising because of it.
SERIOUSLY?!

(Derail) Glad I was able to get escargot on the Disney Dream a couple weeks ago... It was very good. (/Derail)

Did they have it last year? I thought they'd swapped it out for frog legs.

I didn't go last year so I didn't even look at the menu I was so sad I wasn't going! hehe. I have been really wanting to try frog legs. I keep meaning to stop at Coney Island at the original Nathan's for them, but I never get there!
-
Last year they had escargots (and coq au vin) but I was at the Festival in mid October so they could have switched to frog legs after that.

I was there the last week last year. I think I would have remembered frog legs (I like escargot but don't have any interest in sampling frog, not sure why). I know I had a keen interest in the coq au vin initially but it turned out to have something else (I think some kind of pasta au gratin topping) that made it look even heavier than usual so skipped it.
Granted, that was at the end of a long day of sampling. Fairest probably remembers that booth better than I do.
I'm not sure it would really matter for me anyway. Snails have to be consumed very quickly not to taste like rubber and I just can't picturing the process working properly in this environment. The ones I had at the Bistro were good, though.
So I'm reading my bean feed...

Yep, the coq au vin was presented with a gratin macaroni.

I'm afraid I will be passing on the snails, wherever they are! Tried escargot and caviar before, and was not impressed. But give me filet Mignon, hot dogs or chocolate desserts, and...
