Are you ready for Adventure?

The MouseAdventure team is planning two great events this Fall. We know youre eagerly awaiting event dates so you can start planning your next Adventure, here is everything we know so far.

MouseAdventure World Explorers

This year we are off to the Most Magical Place on Earth! MouseAdventure World Explorers IV is ready to test your knowledge of Walt Disney World Magic Kingdom Park. Your exploration of the lands begins Saturday, November 3, 2012.

Join us for our first MouseAdventure at Disney's Magic Kingdom Park. Space is limited, so form your teams and get ready. Registration opens in two weeks. We will share more details as we finalize them.

MouseAdventure: Road Trip

Grab your friends, pack a bag and fill the tank because our next Disneyland Resort MouseAdventure will send you on the Best. Road. Trip. EVER!

While we have a tentative date for our next event, we can not confirm the date or open registration until 90 days prior to the event. Well announce the date as soon as possible look for an update in early Summer.

The Coast-to-Coast Challenge

Every team that plays in MouseAdventure World Explorers IV in Florida, and either of the 2012 Disneyland MouseAdventures will receive a special recognition of their dedication.

And, for the true competitors, there will be a special prize awarded to the team with the highest combined score for the Spring 2012 MouseAdventure Card Games event at Disneyland and MouseAdventure World Explorers IV in Florida. This prize will be awarded at the resort results meet in Florida.

To participate in this challenge, teams must have a score from the Spring 2012 MouseAdventure Card Games event at Disneyland (Basic or Advanced division) and play the Fall 2012 event in Walt Disney World. The majority of players from the team must participate in both events.

To answer the #1 question I know we're going to get at this time:

We are not yet able to confirm our preferred date for the Disneyland event, and we won't be able to do so until 90 days in advance. As soon as we can confirm the date we will send out an announcement and open registration shortly thereafter.

I know people are trying to make plans, book rooms, decide when/if to renew APs, etc. We're all in the same boat. There are years when we can confirm the event earlier, but this isn't one of those years. Several people have asked if we won't just tell you the date we're considering. We have opted not to do that because we don't want you to make plans based on a date we can't commit to. We know this isn't convenient, and we are truly sorry. However, we'd feel much worse if we said "we want to do it on XX/XX date" but then had to rescheduled after players had already made financial commitments based on the earlier date.

We hope to be able to announce the DL date in early summer, but we wanted to get the WDW event date out there because we know that requires much more planning for most players.

I am so sad that we won't be able to make the MouseAdventure World Explorers! That's the day we leave WDW and it would cost too much to change our flight to a later time =( Hopefully we'll be able to make the Disneyland event. Here's to hoping you guys don't chose Oct. 20th as the event date *crosses fingers* (We're getting married that day! =D)

At least one MouseAdventure team changed their wedding date in order to play. And then came back for the next event as "Team Newlyweds"!

Not that we're advocating that...

I'd love to have a answer for you one way or the other, but I can't confirm OR rule out that date. I'll say that it's not our first choice, but it's somewhere in Plans B through Z.

Folks, make your plans, do your thing, live your life. If MouseAdventure happens for you this year, great. If not, we're not going anywhere, and there's always 2013. I can't even tell you how truly humbling and gratifying it is to know that SO MANY people do really make serious decisions around our events, and I would so love to be able to confirm a date for you today. I'm exceptionally grateful to Disney for working with us to make this event possible and keep the price down, but one of the trade offs is that sometimes we can't confirm a date as early as we'd like to.

Believe me, as soon as we sign a contract we will shout the date from the digital rooftops.

We have one teammate who is going to Paris in September/October and I'm pretty sure she won't change her plans for MA. BUT having WE in November makes it pretty definite for her being able to attend. Now on to making ADRs!!!

I'm so excited about the World Explorer Date! I'll be in Orlando for a conference for the week before this, that ends on the 1st of November, so I can totally do this event! But I'll need people to play with... If anyone needs a team mate with MA experience, but not much WDW experience, I'd be happy to join!

hahah I remember reading about that! I'm pretty sure the hubby is going to have to put his foot down there, but we're actually trying to change our honeymoon plans to include WE, so there's still hope for at least one Fall event! =D

Noticed that too - and then I started thinking about transportation to the MK before park opening (if that's the case again). My default plan will be to taxi to the Contemporary and walk from there. Then no need to have to wait for monorail or ferry or bus! So if that's the case - I'm thinking Chef Mickeys or The Wave (If The Wave does breakfast) if you want TS. Cut that potential transporation snag (you know, like squirrels on monorail beam!) out of the last leg of the transporation issues.

The Wave does breakfast, earliest reservation is 7:30am. Chef Mickeys earliest is 7am. Breakfast choices will definitely depend on when the game starts.

Don't trust anyone but Joe or I to give you answers like that - we don't even know yet, since the game hasn't been written.
