Wanted: Creative Memories Digital Disney Software
With mom my passing away last June I let my scrapbooking fall to the wayside. When I finally started getting back in to it this past month I was going to order all the Creative Memories Disney Software only to discover they aren't selling it any more. Does anyone have the software or know of a consultant that still has the software, the two consultants I know don't have any.
Needs to win the lottery so I can get my next trip to WDW planned. Then plan trips to Disneyland Paris, Tokyo Disney, and Hong Kong Disney.
I love: my cats, scrapbooking, and all things Disney

Good luck. On the facebook pages I see requests every once in a while, too.
You can have your consultant post something on the ISO forum in the consultant-only area on the CM website (ISO=In Search Of).
I hope they can tell us something about the negotiations with Disney soon -- either that they're going to have new product soon or that they couldn't come to an agreement and I can give up waiting!!! (Guess which answer I really want to hear!

My consultant thinks they are working on new agreements. I can see them coming up with more Cars themed product but dropping Hannah Montana product. I'll ask her if she post something on the CM website.

FWIW, I've had a few customers looking for this for awhile. They discontinued the CD of Disney content at least a year before the current contract ended. One of the things I generally pride myself on is being able to find obscure discontinued product. (I just found a rose tapestry album from a Cub Scout mom in the last year! I NEVER saw that one coming!) But this one is going to be a toughie.

Adrienne if you can find one from other CM consultants please let me know. I'm desparate as only a Disney Fan and scapbooker can be. I was going to do my WDW trip from last year as a Storybook but may have to rethink it now

Finally found one on ebay this weekend. It is the Disney Vacation Content CD. I just won the bid. WooHoo. Now I just have to figure out how to use the digital software so I can do my Storybook while they are on sale this month.

Oh, that's so great!
If you've not used the software much, I recommend using predesigned pages (I'm assuming the CD has some in there) and just tweaking as needed to make it work for you. IMHO, it helps you learn the software basics, without having too many decisions to make on each page. And with the sale ending at the end of the month, you don't want to be paralyzed by too many decisions!!
Also, one word of warning - the servers tend to get VERY busy the last day or so before the end of a sale. To the point of bringing them down some times! I HIGHLY recommend not waiting until the last minute to upload and order -- and also consider buying a product credit (if you don't think you'll have too many extra pages over the 20 included in the base price) - which will give you a little more time to get it completed.

thanks Cathy. i think I might go ahead and do the product credit. i'm not sure if the software will make it here in time to let me get the album together before the end of the sale
