Moms love presents and flowers but, really, nothing beats a lovely meal cooked by someone else. And youve still got time to make reservations at these Walt Disney World Resort restaurants:
For early risers, The Wave . . . of American Flavors opens at 7:30 a.m. at Disney’s Contemporary Resort with a Mothers Day buffet that stretches from carved ham and sirloin strip to lamb shank, smoked salmon, all sorts of eggs, French toast, waffles, seasonal fruit, house-made pastries and the Waves scrumptious mini-desserts. Service runs until 3 p.m.; cost is $30.99, $14.99 ages 3 to 9.

At Disneys Yacht Club Resort, Captains Grille expands their morning buffet to include roasted top sirloin, made-to-order omelets and a variety of eggs, French toast, buttermilk pancakes, sausage and bacon, fresh fruits and cheeses, bread pudding and more. Beyond breakfast favorites, theres clam chowder, peel-and-eat shrimp, pan-seared crab cakes, grilled asparagus, salads and more. And plenty of sweet endings, of course. Hours are 7:30 a.m.-2 p.m.; cost is $28.99, $12.99 ages 3 to 9.
The kids especially will love Chef Mickeys Mothers Day Brunch at Disneys Contemporary Resort, with all sorts of breakfast favorites including their breakfast pizza, biscuits and gravy, veggie quiche and more. Add oven-roasted beef sirloin, roasted chicken, roasted salmon, pan-fried veggies and more savory tastes. Moms day photos with Chef Mickey and his pals are an added bonus. Hours at 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.; cost is $38.99, $20.99 ages 3 to 9.

At Downtown Disney West Side, Wolfgang Puck Caf has a couple of moms day specials plus a Mothers Day menu in the top-floor Dining Room for $34 that includes three courses: a goat cheese croquette with strawberries, baby spinach, almond and poppy seed dressing; oven-roasted chicken breast with mushroom stuffing, Parmesan orzo and asparagus and mango upside-down cake with white chocolate sauce.
And just for fun, Babycakes NYC at Downtown Disney Marketplace is baking flower- and heart-shaped sugar cookies for mom for $2.75 each.
