    Character Breakfast

    Hi all,

Does anyone know if the Cindarella Character Breakfast at her Castle anygood?

My wife is dieing to take our 22 month old daughter to it and we were told we have to book 60 days in advance for it. I was wondering is it worth the hassle for this and if we dont get the booking we want would would you recommend?

We already booked the Mickey BBQ and Fort Wilderness I believe which is a BBQ and a dinner show. We are staying at the Wilderness Lodge. Any suggestions would be helpful.

The Cinderellas breakfast is spectacular! Lots of interaction with the characters and the french toast is superb. It is extremely hard to get PS seatings for. We had to start dialing at 6:50 AM and kept pushing redial until we got through- with 3 different phones! We got an 8:30 seating for 4 last nov. Definitely worth it!

of all the character bfasts this is the most populor. the setting is cool, esp. for small kids and girls, and the food is very good. it's popularity says a lot. and many of these people are returning. if you miss out on a resv. you can still try when you get there. and you can also try the princess bfast in norway, epcot. it's not as good, but still nice.

Grateful for all God has done for me, and for having Wfoxx by my side.

Well as of now I have a 10 oclock at the Castle, Im hoping this Sunday we can get a early time on thursday, since thats the day we want to go and they told me I couldnt call more than 60 days ahead.

Im hoping we get the thursday time cause it will be when my mother shows up and I think she would love to see her grand daughter at cindarellas castle for breakfast.

I cant believe how fast this fills up.

    Hi!

The Cinderellas Storybook Breakfast is divine! People LOVE it! It is one of the most popular meals at all of Disney and it usually sells out about 5 minutes after the Priority Seating Reservations open for a date. Plan ahead and start early, but you will not be disappointed! You will need a credit card to guarantee your reservation, but you can cancel at least 24 hours prior to your seating date.

Also, this breakfast has the 24 hours prior cancellation requirement, so be sure to cancel your reservation or your credit card will be charged. BUT, if you weren't able to get a reservation early for the breakfast, call the folks at Disney Dining after the 24 hour cancel deadline and you may be able to pick up a last-minute reservation.

    Have a magical day!

Cinderella's Royal Table is well worth the fiddling around trying to get the res. I got lucky and got my res. on the second day trying. BUT when we were in line waiting to get in on the morning of our breakfast a party of 6 walked up and they had room for them, so if you don't get the reservation before you go make sure and check that morning you wanted to go, you might get in!!

I read this in another post and thought it was a good point. For small children, masks can be scarry or hard to relate to- so someplace like Cinderella's where you can see the charactor's face might be particularly good for a 22 mt old.

    whoa...

Do you really have to book that far in advance? omg thats insane. We're going to WDW at the end of august and were planning to do a character breakfast since my grandmother and cousin love disney and have never been there. If I called today for sometime between Aug 22nd - 30th would that be enough notice for the breakfast in the castle or would I have to try and book it somewhere else in the resort?

Also, Aside from the castle and Norway, what other character breakfast options are there? Is the crystal palace restaurant any good?

There are lots of character breakfasts out there if you can't get into CRT. Crystal Palace has Pooh, Hollywood & Vine (MGM), Restaurantosaurus (Animal Kingdom) w/Donald, Chef Mickey's (Contemporary Resort), "Ohana (Polynesian Resort).

The next time we visit Restaurantosaurus will be top on our list, Donald is hard to catch out in the parks and the hubby is a BIG Donald fan!

Hollywood & Vine no longer serves breakfast. However, you left out Cape May Cafe (Beach Club) with Goofy, Pluto, Chip and Dale, 1900 Park Fare (Grand Floridian) with rotating characeters -- lately Alice, Mad Hatter, Pooh, and Eeyore, and 'Ohana (Polynesian) with Mickey, Chip and Dale. There's also Coral Cafe at the Dolphin and Garden Grove at the Swan. Plenty of character breakfast options to go around.

We called exactly 60 days in advance and at 7 am and didnt get a reservation. We ended up calling every day and finally getting it for a later day but had to cut my dad out( he slept and didnt mind at all). What I found really neat is if u have an early reservation ( i think ours was 830) you get to come in the park and no one is there. The setup of this breakfast is great. All the princesses and more were there. I highly recommend it for anyone of any age.

On a reverse opinion, we were not that thrilled with CRT for breakfast. We have done most of the character breakfasts and this was the one that we would probably bypass again. We took our 21 month old who loves the characters in costumes, but could care less about the ones without the masks. Also, we had problems getting refills on our beverages and our waiter got an attitude when I asked for more of the yogurt they have.

Our favorite character experience for breakfast was at Cape May. Chip sat down with our son numerous times and colored with him. He was probably at our table 1/2 the time we were there. Also, Goofy is somewhat of an artist and did a 4'X4' drawing of Stitch and gave it to us as a momento even though he had done it somewhere else in the restaurant.

The best food at a character breakfast was at 1900 Park Fare. The food was WONDERFUL there.

We were also not too pleased with Donald's breakfast. They did not have a big array of food and we felt awfully hurried in the whole experience.

    Currently having WDW withdrawals.

We got the date we wanted for CRT, talk about craziness, we started calling at 6:45 and and when we got on at like 7:02 the best time we could get was 9:10, but hey its better than nothing I guess.

Anyways are there any other character dinners you can reccomend that my 22 month daughter will enjoy???

I was thinking of going to the character breakfast at Restaurantosaurus during my trip in November. Does anyone have some feedback on doing it?
