We are going to stay at the Grand Californian in July. Last year, I got a good rate using my annual pass, but it's expired and I can't renew online. My experience last year was that buying the AP voucher online did not grant access to the special hotel rates, and I had to stop by the park during a business trip to So. Cal. to get that done. Anyway to fix this remotely? (Next time, I'll just renew when the time comes.)
Can anyone tell me if the AP rates are any good for July or whether I would be just as well served by booking through AAA with the 10% discount? (At least, AAA used to have a 10% discount.)
