My family (my wife, son (8), and myself) just went on a 7 day Mexician Rivera Cruise on the Disney Wonder April 8-15. I am a long time cruiser (this cruise is number 29.) so know what to expect on a cruise. I have to say up front that this was by far the best cruise experience we have ever had. All my other cruises were on RCCL so I have alwasys had great service. We really liked the rotational dining. Our waiter and assistant waiter were great. Always took the kids orders first (there were 4 kids at our table in total) so the kids, after a full day were starving each night, got their meals quick. By the third night all the kids had their drinks waiting for them before we sat down. As for how we dressed for dinner, the nights were mostly 'Cruise Casual' with 1 formal night and 1 semi-formal night. Even with the formal/semi-formal nights there were still people that had t-shirts on for dinner. The only time we heard real requirements for dinner was when we went to Palo. They said no shorts and ask they men wear at least a dress shirt. But for the main dinning rooms they never said what to wear. For me and my family, we are ok with this. if you have a large family I don't think you want to/neeed to spend the time to get extreay formal for dinner every night on vacation. But once again I do have to have to say our cruise on the Disney Wonder was the best cruise I have been on on the 30 years I've been cruising. The only bad thing is that Disney is pulling out of the Mexician Riviera at the end of the year.

    Thanks for reading,
    DisneyMatt
