I didn't see any comments about the Little Mermaid being closed May 1st-3rd, and it's already on Disney's website.
Disneyland: 1980 & 81. 2010 and now (drums roll please): May 2012!
WDW: 1976, 1997, 1999, 2006, 2007, 2009... and missing it so much!

Another great update, as usual.

At home in the hills
So, the Pixar parade is back on the schedule, so WHEN are they bringing our parade home? Huh? Huh?
Florida has had it long enough, and it went because of construction which is winding down......

MSEP won't truly be home until it's parading down Main Street. And on that day I will be there to welcome it home.

It is coming back to DCA after the construction ends. Below is a copy of when it will be returning from the Disneyland Update.
Pixar Play Parade Returning to Disney California Adventure
After the Disney California Adventure park construction sent the Pixar Play Parade into hiatus last year, Disney this week announced its return on June 15, 2012. Over the past year, Disney filled the entertainment void with a few pop-up shows, which used some of the Pixar Play Parade elements. The Pixar Pals! Monster Mayhem and Pixar Pals! The Incredibles: Heroes in Training entertained guests several times a day near the Hyperion Theater with a mostly stationary show in which guests participated in activities with Pixar characters. In anticipation of the return of the Pixar Play Parade, Disney is making a few modifications to some of the parade floats. One such modification will be the repositioning of Jack Jack, who use to be positioned on top of the Omnidroid float, which featured a pyrotechnic element. These changes are presumably to allow the taller floats, which were designed for use in 2008, to pass under the newly installed Red Car Trolley cables.
The current shows, The Pixar Pals! Monster Mayhem and Pixar Pals! The Incredibles: Heros in Training, end on April 29, 2012.

James, the reference to "our parade" that candles71 made was to the Electral Parade (or is it Electric, I always get it confused) and then Andrew was referring to it's original name "Main Street Electric/Electral Parade" and that it 'belongs' on Disneyland's Main Street.
Neither of them were referring to the Pixar parade.

Cathy is right, Electrical Parade. We want our parade back. I realize they really needed it out of the way during construction. Between, no parade route at various times to just the storage space backstage, but they are almost done and we want it back. I do agree Andrew, it won't be truly home until it is on Main Street, but being on this coast would go a long way.

Cathy, I stand corrected. I also think the Electrical Parade should be returned to DCA or Disneyland Park.

While I'm looking forward to the Fantasy Faire Experience, we will truly miss Carnation Plaza. It was our favorite quiet place to enjoy our pineapple whips.
