What are your "can't miss" meals at Disneyland/DCA?

For me, I have got to go to the Village Haus in Fantasyland for their flatbread bacon/lettuce/tomato pizza, also have got to do chili-fries and the 'Billy Hill and the Hillbillies' show at the Golden Horseshoe.
So far nothing at DCA has really sparked my 'got to have' tastebuds, any suggestions?

No favorites in DCA either but in DL my new got to have it is the fried green tomato sandwich and sweet potato fries at the Hungry Bear.

The sweet potato fries are really good, I'll have to try them with the fried green tomato sandwich. Getting a meal and eating on the lower level by the "Rivers of America" is one of my favorite decompression times, very peaceful and serene, watching the canoers rowing by.

First and very foremost - CHURROS! then POPCORN in a souvenir bucket After those it's probably anything from the Rancho del Zocalo Restaurante, also, the Mint Julep Bar was delish last visit. My mom always gets us a pineapple whip from the Tiki Juice Bar while we wait for the Enchanted Tiki Room

I haven't really eaten a whole lot in DCA but we had some seriously good food at the Boardwalk Pizza & Pasta on our last visit, I suggest it!

I haven't really eaten a whole lot in DCA but we had some seriously good food at the Boardwalk Pizza & Pasta on our last visit, I suggest it!

Yep, can't do a trip without at least one churro.... and the pineapple whip is always a great selection, especially on the warmer days; great cooling off drink.

In DCA, we really enjoyed some offerings at the Cove Bar (inside Ariels Grotto, currently under refurb till 1 June). We liked the Lobster Nachos, BBQ Chicken Pizza and Fish Tacos.

In DLR, love those Bengal BBQ kebobs and love the Burrito Sonora and Chicken Tortilla Soup at Racho Del Zocalo

I'll have to try the Cove on my October trip, since it's being refurbished during my upcoming trip (April 20 - 29). I love those Bengal kebobs, they are a perfect get one and go type meal, when you just want something to eat but don't really need to sit down for it; I like getting one as I'm leaving Adventureland and heading to Tomorrowland.
Out of all my trips I still haven't done the Rancho Del Zocala; last trip in October 2011 it was always crowded (had the Festival of the Dead statues over there). I think I'll do a dinner there on this trip.

I hadn't had a frozen lemonade since I was a kid and we got one last trip. It was hot and I was pregnant and dehydrated. The frozen lemonade tasted sooo good. I think it will become a favorite on hot days. We always have dinner at Rancho at least once. They have huge portions. In our experience we've never had a long wait there.

Frozen lemonade sounds terrific, I love stuff like that - and it sounds like it was perfect for you being dehydrated like that. Fortunately it's only been really hot a couple of times when I've been there, but when I lived in Ohio it'd get up to high 90's often, sometimes low 100's and it was miserable.
I'm starting to think now that I need to go to Rancho for an early lunch one day, probably fairly early in my trip, because if it is as good as it sounds then a re-visit before leaving will be in order....

It also used to be the Mickey Pancakes at The Riverbelle Terrace first thing in the morning and sit next to ROA, but since the remodel a few years ago, the pancakes are just not the same.

DH has to have a corn dog. Also if watching a parade or fireworks he must have popcorn and a coke. For me, I really, really like the nachos at the Cove Bar. I usually have my "go to" items at just about every restaurant at the resort

I have 3 lunches that I rotate - the chicken fusilli at Redd Rocket's, the pot roast at the Plaza Inn, and the beef taco salad from Rancho del Zocalo. Of course, nothing beats a steamboat breakfast from the Riverbelle Terrace, sitting outside and watching Frontierland and New Orleans Square slowly coming to life!

We really like the soup bowls at the Wharf. DH and I have tried a few different varieties. We have also eaten at the new pizza place on the boardwalk in DCA. The BBQ chicken pizza is really good.

AT Disneyland we really like Rancho. We didn't eat there this last time as we were at DCA on the night we had dinner in the park. We had the Mexican there; although it was good, it just wasn't the same.

Two that have been missed so far - pommes frites (garlic fries) from the Cafe Orleans and the loaded baked potato soup from the Carnation Cafe (when it re-opens). Best full meal - cajun salmon from the Blue Bayou.

Friends tell me (repeatedly!) that the hot link corn dog in DCA is really good (available at the Corn Dog Palace).

For us, a rootbear float is a must-do dessert for every Disney trip. The vainilla ice cream is delicious! and so different from where I come from.
Also, we recently discovered the dole whips and they're so good!
DH just told me: "If I can have either a rootbear flot or a dole whip for every day... I'm happy". Kids prefer the Mickey chocolate ice cream bar, of course.
And I have to ask, now that I'm posting in a food thread: We'll be doing our once-in-a-lifetime visit to the Blue Bayou. For us to be affordable, we'll share the famous Monte Cristo. But after reading so many posts about them, I found a couple saying it was way too greasy, and couldn't finish it. I'm not used to greasy foods (and I come from a country where greasy foods are everyday's food, but I just don't like them, at least not in my normal diet), and I'm worried that after spending way too much money (even sharing MC it will be one of our top 3 most expensive meals) I will just not be able to eat it.
What can you guys recommend me??

Well, as much as I enjoy a good monte cristo, I'd love to say that it's not greasy at all. But I can't - it's pretty greasy. Or rather, it CAN be pretty greasy. It's very tasty, though, and very unusual. There are plenty of other choices on the menu at the Blue Bayou that you might enjoy. But for a once in a lifetime event, do the cristo!
