    DCL policy changes for courtesy holds and payments

    Disney Cruise Line has changed the period of time that a reservation can be held without funds. In an effort to maximize the availability of stateroom inventory onboard the ships, the amount of time that courtesy reservation holds a stateroom without funds being applied has been shortened.

    The courtesy hold period is changing from:
    3 days for Suites/Concierge categories to 1 day
    5 days for Non-Suites/Non-Concierge categories to 3 days

    The following change has also been made to the payment extension policy:
    No extensions are allowed on Suites/Concierge categories
    A one time extension of 3 days is allowed on Non-Suites/Non-Concierge categories, unless prompted by the system that No extensions are allowed (which usually applies to special sailings such as inaugurals).
