I dont have children so Ive never had to worry about bringing a stroller to the parks, but I sure have had to dodge a few during my visits. Doesnt opting for a sling or, at the very least, avoiding the double-wide stroller avoid you some dirty looks. Im thinking especially in that adventureland bottleneck at Disneyland.
On my next trip, I'll have a 7yo, 5yo, and 1 yo. Should I only bring the side-by-side stroller and make one of the kids walk, or should I bring along another umbrella? Tough call for us.

It is really up to you since you know your children best. We live near Disney World but go to Disneyland about once per year too. I have three children spaced out about 3 1/2 years apart but never had a double stroller, just had one in stroller at a time. I would think if you have a double and your 7 year old still fits, that the 5 and 7 year old could take turns if they get tired and both could walk part of the time? I know we quit bringing stroller at all once our youngest reached 5 but we were okay with not seeing or doing everything since we get to visit Disney frequently so if someone was too tired we could just leave. I did prefer sling for a baby, because for us while we did like stroller because it could hold a lot of stuff on the bottom it was also hassle for folding up and carrying on monorail etc just to get in and out of park, but with Disneyland that is not as much of hassle as getting around Disney world.
