true - BUT - from what I have read over the years many times the gate receipt is the primary counting tool for overall budget direction, etc.

The monthly payment plan made it a lot easier for me to get the PAP, rather than putting a lump sum on a credit card or check. And since my usual Disney vacation is two times a year for nine days a trip (fly in on a Friday, stay through the following week then leave on a Sunday) I would have 18 park admissions, so it averages out to $27.72 a day for both parks. I usually budget $1000 in spending money (for meals, souvenirs, etc) and whatever money I don't spend goes back into the budget for the next trip.

Just found out something interesting while making a dry run to buy gift vouchers online-They no longer accept multiple forms of payment or Disney Visa Rewards dollars. You can only enter 1 CC for the entire purchase. It wasn't like that the last time I bought them. Real bummer for me as we've been saving several Visa and Disney gift cards that we received as gifts over the last few months and planned on using them toward the AP purchase. Got a chat agent who said that you would have to go to the Disneyland ticket office to pay with multiple forms and/or Reward dollars. I asked if the Disney Stores carried AP gift vouchers, and she said they did. I called my local store in Fresno and they haven't carried them at their location for a couple years. I also asked the chat agent about the "redeem by" date and she said 1 year from the date the vouchers are puchased and that the puchased price would be good even in the event of a price increase during that year.

I've heard for awhile that Rewards Dollars can't be redeemed online, but if you call they can process it that way.

I wish they would open the payment plan up nationwide. This would make it so much easier on our family to get AP's. We have 5. and doing a monthly plan would help out so much..then we could plan multiple vacations to DL..and/or pop down for a long weekend.

I just saw the new price increases via a link posted by Disney Parks. You can see it here: http://disneyparks.disney.go.com/blo...t-prices-2012/
All I can really say is "ouch" & I'm glad we renewed our SoCal passes last Saturday when we were there.

Any News on Price Increases?
How long do you think it will be before Wdw increases?

Wow! That is quite a price increase! Ouch.
We were looking at getting new annual passes in August...looks like we should purchase now to save $180 ($90 x 2 for Deluxe).
