THAT's funny...being hungover, I mean. I'm too old to get hungover anymore - can't take it. We had a very nice 'late' night doing laundry there (at the Coronodo) one night during out trip. We had coolers and beer and spent about 2 1/2 or 3 hours washing, then drying and folding laundry in the laundry room, by ourselves, back and forth to a hammock. Pathetically romantic, just us two (the kids were long asleep by the time we got back to the room, they were 12 & 16) but fun, too.

I NEED to get back to WDW and Disneyland, possibly by myself (okay, I can't imagine it, but maybe for a half day or something) so I can SLOWLY wander and take it all in and try and see the details I missed racing through with my family!!! Especially at Magic Kingdom - there just wasn't the time!!!

Arriving today with our friends from SC. They are just a few exits away from WDW. I'm wearing a Tink shirt in their honor.

I didn't know what PTO was till I started this job a few months ago. Boy, was I spoiled in my last job with separate vacation time and sick time. Now I gotta make those 14 PTO days really count!

I wish I was healthier ,so I wouldnt need a scooter at WDW. The expense if travel, tickets, resort and meals is enough. An added 300.00 for a scooter makes trip more unaccessible. I would want to be in WDW anywhere. Would love to be in the Haunted Mansion.

Personal Time Off. It's what corporate America now calls vacation time and sick time all rolled into one.

I get 32 days annual leave a year. Sick leave is separate and is 6 months paid full salary. After that the door is close behind you. However as I have taken 2 days sick in 8 years that's not an issue! I also tend to work about 23 hours a week more than my contract, often more. So I value my leave.

WOW - 32 days of leave a year, with sick time coming out of a separate account? Extremely jealous - puts my 14 days of PTO (which includes sick time) to shame!!!

I am an early riser too, and do this often. There is nothing like being one of the only people walking around your resort. I just got married on the beach in Mexico and had several days where I went to watch the sunrise. The resort had hundreds of people, but there would be maybe 5 of us watching the sunrise. It was great!

I used to be 45 pounds heavier than I am now and I can tell you for sure that it makes a world of difference, and not just on your dogs!

Today I wish I was riding the monorail around the Seven Seas Lagoon, then getting off at the Magic Kingdom station for a day in my favorite park.

I don't think you want to ask what she got for maternity leave, either. I know Canada is a full year at I believe full pay! They're so CIVILIZED compared to the U.S.

WHAT? I had to use all of my vacation and sick time first, then had to get the rest of the leave at 30% salary. Only 12 weeks allowed. First son, I was out 12 weeks; second son, I was self-employed, so I went back to work after 3 weeks. Not a good decision......

OK to get back on track, I wish I were wearing my fetching (not) Kool Tie to cool down as I walk the world showcase.

Today I wish I was wandering around World Showcase, eating a churro or Kringla in Norway and enjoying the shops/rides/movies, with Soarin' Fastpasses in my pocket! Only a little over four weeks to go, but still can't get here fast enough.
