I've seen the MK fireworks a couple of times from the 15th floor balcony of the Contemporary - a very cool vantage point! And as you know they have speakers up there, so you can hear the show's music track. I like it when the first really loud concussive shell booms, and all of the car alarms in the parking lot go off at the same time!

I haven't been in the Contemporary outside the monorail since 1992! There used to be a landing at the top of the north stairwell you could get to without a room key or anything. Bet it's locked up now.

Not sure about that Nick, but there is an observation deck, with music piped in, that is on the 4th floor, I believe. (Same floor as Chef Mickeys.)
Watching wishes would be really nice right about now...

DH is in Orlando for a convention, I wish I was there with him so I could sneak over to the "World", instead of being here trying to figure out why my dryer keeps randomly turning on!
It wants you to wash your clothes for a trip to WDW so it can get the Disney magic aroma once you are back...

LOL! Course now that I put in a call to the service center, it hasn't done it again. I did spend about 20 minutes vacuuming the lint traps and the hose/pipe that leads outside so maybe that helped. I think the circuit board is starting to goand if that is the case that will put off any trips for a bit so I can get that fixed.
It is. We watched Wishes on that deck in July. Music piped in. Cool!
I wish I was riding Space Mountain today. Pretty simple and straight forward.
