The secret of life is enjoying the passage of time.

We did the WOC meal at Ariel's last October, and no one told us anything about a waiting area near the Trattoria. We ended up waiting by the lighthouse, along with other diners who didn't know where else to go. When the PD line finally opened up, there was the usual scramble. We never saw any CMs escorting other guests into the PD line. Yet again, the one consistent feature of the WOC experience is its inconsistency!
When we have done it (a few times now) we have eaten at Ariels, and lined up in the picnic pick up area. For tea4two, I don't think they explain where to go well. We lined up there, and they walked us to the preferred dining area. It really wasn't much of a mad dash. Despite this, we did have people trying to cut in the very short line.

Tillamook and babybel, isn't that about 20.00 in one of those hotel fridges that are stocked. And even living over the coast range from Tilamook, those tiny packages are still expensive.
We did the Dessert Viewing and it was fun. The desserts are very cute, with cookies, molten lava cake, cheeses, crackers and grapes, but to me the taste was ho humm. Nothing to write home about. The dessert box comes with drinks, (coffee, hot cocoa), that you can order again and again. That was nice since it was chilly at 9p.m. when we were there. They do give you alot and we ended up taking most of it back to the hotel. I mainly did the reserved viewing to make sure we got a good view of the Fantasmic show. It was worth it, just for the ease of not worrying about staking out a spot etc. Whereas the WOC just seemed chaotic to me. We did not reserve anything for WOC but I followed a large group of people and ended up being in the "Reserved" standing area that was roped off, just by accident! WOC was just like a montage of Disney images played out over fountains of water set to music. It was nice, but given the choice, I'd much rather do the Fantasmic show again. You actually get seating, and the show itself was more exciting.
My daughter has major issues with claustrophobia. The gallery made it impossible for her to enjoy it. We were so happy when they opened the river viewing. Made it so much more enjoyable. That's our opinion also!! We enjoy it and do it a couple times a year.As for the current version, my DH said he'd pay the $$ just to have the chair. The service is great, we like to do the first show and stay for fireworks. It is a much better bang for your buck than the premium WOC option, in my opinion. A seat, service, snacks, drinks, plus I like F! better than WOC anyway.
