We would also like to thank the staff and Alex for writing such wonderful puzzles. Our team Jiminy Cracked It was able to improve our 3rd time around. I really liked being able to turn in the cards and secure points on the spot. The only thing I was disappointed about was not being able to receive points for the lower cards even if you couldn't receive the quest after 4. It would have been nice to at least unlock the 60 points even if we couldn't do the Jack. But I guess we should have paid better attention to the rules.
I was quite frustrated with the "Time Castle". I had such a hard time finding the plaque. I knew the general area where it was but I didn't find it until I actually walked on top of it. Then I did the math and came up with years and months but the math didn't give me any days. Then I thought to myself,"no....the question specifies days. But they wouldn't trick me with 0..." Needless to say I came up with the wrong answer because I didn't consider the quite obvious answer.
Other than those snafu's I would say as far as my team is concerned, this is the most fun we have had and we can't wait to see what the next game is gonna throw at us.

It is a lot more work to try and make these darn pictures into a video than I thought....

None the less, here is the first installment; this is our team working on the Rockets portion of the MA.

If I put all the pictures into one video it is over 15 minutes long, I figured if I break them up, they won't be as tedious...

Here are a few pictures of staff members. I am still weeding through all 9500 pictures to try and find the best (and least embarrassing) ones...

AdrienneK helping us because I lost one of our cards...

Coming back to the Rockets station to pick up quests

There is still a lot more to come!!

Here is the second installment: Stars Quests! Which should have been first, since this is where we started, but Youtube uploaded Rockets faster. Maybe because it is shorter?

Heehee, I love the sequence in the rockets video where you're getting the Queen quest at the train station and you walk away from Cadaverous Pallor for a moment, only to quickly return and stare at her for several frames

Also, I apologize to whichever team it was that found me for that quest on the Omnibus. That was my first shift being the "partner" riding the vehicles and while I had it explained to me where to stamp I had not actually SEEN the answer sheet. I know I totally botched the stamping (I think I not only stamped in the wrong place, but under the wrong suit). I hope it didn't completely throw off game results

GD beat me here but yes, I had a blast working the event. Many thanks for giving us a task we could handle with our little one running around. Working with AK's teenage son was a kick, especially since he enjoyed making our kiddo laugh. Don't tell AK or her son but this is how I remember him best:

It was so funny having people stare at me the Main Street DLRR Station. So many people trying to be polite! This is MA, you've got to get in there with your elbows out!

I always appreciate being able to pass a few words with teams, and see all the various permutations. I even had someone say "You're Cadaverous Pallor, aren't you" and actually introduce me to their teammates, who actually seemed to know who I was! That hasn't happened to me in a long, long time. What an ego boost. I also loved bumping into our old competitors that my fading mind actually recognizes....Raiders of the Lost Park, Oswald Returns, San Diego Mouse Catchers, and many others, along with the other masters helping out from The-Mouse.com and Simba's Pride. Just seeing their faces kicks up my adrenaline as I reflexively think, "they're gaining on us!"

I've missed all of you, staff and players alike, and just the amazing feeling of MA, whether you're winning or losing or completely clueless as to how you're doing. We'll either be playing or helping again next time. As exhausted as I was after a full Disney day, I lay in bed Sunday night and thought about team shirts that would incorporate our newest team member.

I fixed it, GH. They showed it to me and I wrote a note on the sheet that said: See AdK. When their answer sheet came through, I saw it, showed it to that station's grading team, and we took care of it.

AHHHHHHH! LOOK HOW CUTE HE WAS!!!!!!

Just think, 11 years from now, CP...

I showed that to M and he busted out laughing. Then Sman said "AW! I'm not in that picture!" We said "YES YOU ARE!" M said "You're the BUMP." Sman said "But you can't see my face!"

Thanks for the trip down memory lane! Gosh, that was a really small crew!

For my part... I'm just glad that there was a rock nearby for me to utilize for my "Part of Your World" moment... ha ha!

Side note... am I the only person that really doesn't mind, maybe even enjoys quests in NOS and Critter Country? I kind of love that whole area of the park, crowded or no.

I'll tell you where I would not mind never having to visit again... INNOVENTIONS. Although, it's a lot easier with the new entrance/exit set-up. Still... not my favorite. But I digress. I agree with G2D that the Q quests were a lot of fun!

Nope! You're not alone--I love NOS and Critter Country. I just like it better when quests are limited to one or the other and not both.

What was the rocket Q quest? We got the other three but not that one.

My head was down working on the K of Rockets during that time... another two were working on K of Crowns I think... so Gone2Disneyland was doing Q of Rockets. You had to go to Main Street Station and observe the baseball cap being worn by the MA staffer, then find the matching hat on someone who was on "transportation" on Main Street... trouble was we were close to 4 pm, better know as pre-Soundsational time... so there was a lot of confusion because there were no vehicles running at the time. We ultimately found the person wearing the hat sitting amongst the parade crowd near the drop-off/pick-up point for a Main Street vehicle. We were so excited when we saw him, we charged over to him waving our arms and yelling victoriously, we might have scared him and the unsuspecting guest sitting around him just innocently waiting for the parade. Sorry folks.

In that last 40 minutes of the game we really rode the wave of adrenalin to the finish line, maybe pushed onward by GrimGrin's extremely powerful and stirring motivational speech at the bottom of the Main Street Station steps... "let's finish strong and win this!" I guess that's all we needed. Although at the time, I wanted to either burst out laughing or just sock him in the mouth. Ha ha. Ultimately, I was too tired for either. (Love you GrimGrin... I would never sock you, unless it was a fatigue-induced, involuntary reaction... you have been warned. Sincerely, your adoring wife)

It was finding matching people... trying not to give away too much for the DATP event.

They should know better than to come to this thread (it's marked spoilers for a reason)!

But thanks (to you and Lanvender Blue) - you answered a question I was wondering about from some of the discussion here.

And Adriennek - if that "bump" is SMan, and the small child is M, where is CMan --- or do I have their names mixed up again?

After hours of power walking, we were all a little wobbly at that point. I felt pretty good about our chances too. I will say that a good sock probably would've gone unnoticed. Note to self and others: HYDRATE!

Phew! All I got from Alex at the time was, "It's on the front, in the gray box". I finally got my hands on their score sheet and I couldn't figure out which one was the front, and the thing was about 80% gray boxes! Arrgh! Then I had to run back to the station for clarification...giving one team a gimme by suddenly appearing with said matching outfit. Sigh. Live and learn. Hopefully if we staff again we'll be able to actually make it to some of the planning meetings and testing and such. (Who'd have thought working, taking 3 classes, and raising a child would leave me with so little free time?!)

We were looking for exactly that. But, we were also pretty brain fried from CC and NOS quests. We spent too much time there and I'm so glad we finally washed our hands of it. Lessons learned for the fall, right?

All this talk about walking around the end of the quest reminded me of two words: Tarzan's Treehouse.
