Totally concur for all the corrals and it works both ways. I've heard many people who go to a back corral to be with friends and then get frustrated when the group moves slower than they would like as well as those who are in the front that shouldn't be. Unless you are a professional who has any chance in the world of winning, it's all about getting everyone getting safely from the start to the finish line.

Woohoo! Almost here!
In the year leading up to my 40th birthday, I successfully ran 40 races ending with Ironman Lake Tahoe! Follow me on Facebook!
Hmm... guess I'll bring my "water resistant" running shoes.
Has anyone seen if they've released that text notification system for the weekend's events yet?
PS: Just checked weather.com. Saturday's forecast looks like 10% chance for rain, lows at 54 and highs at 76. If it doesn't rain, maybe it'll stay cloudy and not get too hot. That would be ideal.

The forecast has shifted since I posted that.
I have checked for the tracking link the last two days and it's not there. I will keep checking and post it when it's available. It may not be until next week based on recent experience.
For those of us who like to cheer from the comfort of our own living rooms on race morning -- did I miss anyone?

The tracking link from last year is still up, but inactive. They may use it again, or a new one.
Did anyone apply for the Marathon Weekend runDisney Meetup? I'll be there covering it for MousePlanet!
It looks like its going to be a warm one. HYDRATE, HYDRATE, HYDRATE!!!!
Add me to the list of the Goofy and the 5K. What was I thinking, lol!
Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize.

Swanie, are any of the younger Swan's doing the half? (I was going to say little Swanies, but I figure Miss T isn't so little AND she's definitely 'Swaned' out!)

If you're hoping to change corrals, runDisney has added the necessary times to the WDW corral placements. Those times should give you an idea of what time you will need to be assigned to a specific corral.

The runner tracking link is still not available, and the old link has been disabled.
And just like that, the tracking link is up: http://live.xacte.com/wdw/alerts/
If you're on twitter, I'll be tweeting my Goofy splits on my MP account. You can follow along @MPStephanie.
Thanks for posting the link to the tracker, Steph!

Some suggestions on places to eat for race weekend (including my picks) in today's article by Lorree (RunningFool). Share your suggestions in the comments!
Great article. I'll have to remember to give it a second look when we're at out 180 day mark for our W&D trip.
Last year we ate at Portobello the night before the race. It was delicious and the service was good. Unfortunately this is where I learned that my engine doesn't run well on pasta. I don't normally eat it at home and I should have known better than to eat it the night before my first half. I ended up with tummy cramps for the last four miles. Live and learn. No pasta for this girl
