You will find WiFi at the resorts, but not at the parks. (Boy, I wish!!) It is my understanding that it was once free only at the DVC resorts but that was since expanded to the non-DVC resorts as well. (Maybe someone can confirm that.)

One thing - I found that WiFi at the resorts that have multiple buildings, you may get a signal at the room, but not in some common areas. At OKW, the signal at our room was pretty good, but I could not get anything around the restaurant or store. Granted, this was when they first came out with it in the rooms, so things may have improved since then.

I wasn't aware that they'd put it in all the resorts, GusMan. Can anybody confirm?

Well, I may have misread the tweet I got... however, Mousesavers.com did mention the following list:

    Animal Kingdom Lodge
    Beach Club Resort
    BoardWalk Resort
    Contemporary Resort
    Coronado Springs Resort
    Grand Floridian Resort
    Old Key West Resort
    Polynesian Resort
    Port Orleans - French Quarter
    Port Orleans - Riverside
    Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa
    Wilderness Lodge Resort
    Yacht Club Resort
It also said that wired access in the rooms was discontinued at the resorts mentioned above.
For the resorts not listed, wired access is still available for a fee.

At the same time, Mark mentioned in the WDW Update this week:
…Disney has filed a permit for property-wide installation of "WiFi and Distributed Antenna System." No word on whether it is for guest-accessible WiFi or if it's just for the use of Disney operations cast members.
Might be interesting to watch this unfold...

So just to be clear, is this wi-fi FREE? If so, total win-win!!!

Yes it is from what I can tell.
Wired access, where still available, is not free.

    Grrr Wi-Fi?

Hi, Long time reader, first time poster. So according to Mouse Planet it's the Value resorts getting Wi-Fi, but on AllEars.net it's all resorts?

    Anyone have more info?

Yes. It should be in all by now. Here is a fairly recent thread to refer to.

Used it on my last trip to the Beach Club in November.

I imagine the values were installed last, not first.

my experience at OKW this Feb. was that the Wifi was impossibly slow, totally useless as it could take up to an hour to load one page on my ipad

Grateful for all God has done for me, and for having Wfoxx by my side.

My experience with it at OKW back in November was not bad at all... Was able to stream movies to my iPod without a hitch.

I am betting that some locations on property will be better than others, especially those locations that have a multi-building layout.
