Countdown to Magic: How many days until YOUR next WDW trip?

I never could understand what was so amazing about this bridge room. Then October 2010 my fianc and I went to eat there (first time ever) and we sat there. I fell in love! I took my parents and sister there in August 2011 and now they love it too. It's so nice to get away from all the hustle and bustle of the park but to still watch all the action.

Oh and 141 days!

and 12 days to the wedding!

25 days to go, and then there's this:

I was getting a bit depressed because I wasn't sure when we'd be coming back to the World after this coming visit. I returned to school in Spring 2011 to get a new degree, this time in GIS (geographic information systems), and having finished my degree this past semester, I wasn't sure if I'd be able to find a job anytime soon. The social security that I have been receiving since my wife died in 1998 that I've been using to raise my kids has all but ceased, and finances were a grave concern for me and my household (especially with my son going off to Penn State in the fall). Well, thanks to a very generous appraisal from my professor (Dr. Tom Mueller, California University of Pennsylvania), I was offered a job this morning; I start next Monday, and they are even allowing me to go on my trip as scheduled!

So the depression has lifted (although the anxiety of not knowing if I'll be able to do the job is a palpable presence), and already in the early planning stages: a trip to DL next summer to enjoy Carsland and all the other new additions. Color me ecstatic! Sometimes life is good.

It's a perfect set-up for sure. I'll get to get my feet wet in the job, take a nice vacation, then come back refreshed to begin anew. Plus, starting the job on Monday will help the countdown to our Disney trip go that much faster.

I'm too sad about the trip being over I don't have my next trip planned yet! My sister would like to go with me next time...but I don't think I can wait a whole year!!! By the way, my DH came on the last trip for a week, even though he just started a new job. His boss was understanding and actually said "we want you to be happy...go on your planned trip". He was not fully employed for 2 years. Moral of the story...plan a trip to Disney and your wishes will come true!

29 DAYS!!!!!

Less than a month!! Getting so excited. I am a bit lost with the packing though, I would usually be done by now. Unfortunatly when you are not going in a different season it's harder to pack. I used to just pack the stuff we would wear on vacay into the suitcases instead of puttting them away for the season. Now I will actually be packing a good bit of it a couple days before going, hopefully I can get myself organized so it works out.

PS I am not counting the last day (since we leave so early) until I start going by the hours.

We are a strange and lovely group of people, lol. Of course, I'm not one to carry on and cha, cha, cha like that, no matter how close I am to my Disney vacation.
