Absolutely. I would rather be in school. We've been a single income family for nearly 7 years. Now that the kids are bigger and the babies are no longer babies I'm ready to head back to work (at least part time). Plus 2 incomes means more frequent Disney trips.
The "covered section" is really not that tough to find. The whole seating area is covered, but some areas are in the sun. Just look at where you're being directed. If it's covered, stay put. If it's in the direct sunlight, just move to an area that's covered.
I was too stupid to follow this advice on my last viewing of the show, and spent the entire time out of the shade and cooking in the Florida heat. Dumb!!!

Off topic, as this has to do with the west coast. I leave next Thursday for a long weekend in SoCal, visiting family and of course Disneyland. The weather forecast for the past few weeks has been for 90+ temps while I'm there. It just dropped, and should be around 79 to 80 degrees and sunny - just perfect!

2013 Pre-Trip Report

149 days, 149 days, 149 days, 149 days until our first visit to our DVC home at AKL. We were at the Beach Club last December for our 5th trip in 9 years and we finally decided to take the plunge and buy DVC. It helped that they had a great deal going on.
Planning on having some down time this time to enjoy the resort and the pools. Thanks to all you people who post to keep the magic going all year round.
Welcome home! Kidani Village is our home resort and we love it.
