I'd never make it; I'm horrible at keeping surprises.

DH is all for a WDW trip for us in October. He's even willing to stay on this committee until after the fall conference. So as long as I'm not in school in the fall I'm at around 220 days!!!!

I'm even crossing my fingers for some free dining. It would push us over the edge in convincing the union to let us stay onsite instead of at the convention hotel (for less money BTW). We'd have to get a rental for a few days for the convention part, but we'd stay the entire week, plus the union would reimburse his meal "costs" for the convention days along with paying the hotel for the convention days and his flight. That would leave us with a couple nights hotel stay, tickets and my food (if we aren't on free dining).

Holy schnikies, that means we only have two weekends left to get ready. And in the mean time the girls have 9 soccer games (6 of which are on the weekends) I have a hair appt, I NEED to get a pedi and eyebrow wax. I have to clean the house and leave it presentable and most importantly pack. Thank goodness we'll be at DVC and can do wash, in theory that should help with my obsessive over packing! LOL! but again we're taking the big car. Good thing we're planning on getting the kitchen since when were down there so i dont have to pack it!

3p1p, I hope it works out for you and your DH! a adult trip in the fall sounds fantastic!

    Oh dear.

You know that feeling (I KNOW everyone in this forum does!) of "needing" a trip to WDW to get away from life?

I'm not really a WDW person but I think I just got it. Criminy. What am I going to do.

I get to go in November if I want; that's not even far off. What happened? My life is not that stressful!

I've done exactly this in the past. When working an event in the convention center, I've booked my crew into either a value or a moderate resort, depending on available rates. Saves the company money, and I'm right there in the magic when there's free time!

No countdown, but I've been experiencing PDDD for several days now on the anniversary of our trip last year. One year ago today we spent the day at Typhoon Lagoon and then had supper at the Wilderness Lodge 'Hoop De Doo Revue' (I think I have that right...) Every morning I think about the date and then get all melancholy about it...sigh...

Y'all go and have some fun for me now while you're at it!!!!!

I may as well start packing this weekend. A week from Sunday we're throwing DH a 40th b-day party and I know the time is just going to slip away from me at that point!

Glad you get to leave the sink behind DFF4! LOL!

Give the lady a prize!!! I suppose it's not really a disorder for most on these boards, but the rest of the world may think so. Good thing I have all of you to visit the world and report back for me or I'd never survive!!!
