OMG I am an idiot [Booked wrong date]
So I just checked all my ADR e
Mails having booked on line for August. All okay bar one.
I managed to book (and pay $187) for the Spirit of Aloha for 25th of February instead of August. And we are on the free DDP.
Do you think they'll help me out to correct this mistake?
Why am I so thick?!

You are not an idiot.
Now, that out of the way. I think this is one of those things that you have to decide if it's worth the time and phone charge. I'm thinking you'll have much better luck via the phone, but given that you are in England, maybe they'll be able to accomodate you via email.
Good luck!

No, you are not an idiot and these things do happen. I think it will all work out fine - because usually when some pixie dust is called for, Disney comes through.

Scoob, I cannot imagine that you'll have any difficulty in changing the dates. Take a deep breath; everything will work out okay.
1999 - Coronado Springs (1 night); 2003 - DL's Paradise Pier (5 nights); 2005 - All Star Music (7 nights); 2007 - POP Century (10 nights); 2008 - DL's Paradise Pier (5 nights); 2009 - POP Century (10 nights); 2010 - Dolphin (2 nights); 2011 - POP Century (7 nights); June 8-18, 2012 - POFQ (10 nights); next trip,June 18-22, 2013 - POFQ (5 nights). If I'm not at Walt Disney World or Disneyland, I'm not really happy.

Walt Disney World Guest Mail [guest.mail@wdw.disneyonline.com]
Try this one for starters, it is the Guest Relations type of email address. Be patient, it can take them a day or two to get back to you. Above all, don't panic! I'm sure this can be sorted out.
If they can't help you from this address, they will give you the correct one to use.
And you're not an idiot, this can happen to the best of us my friend! Be calm. Deep breaths. It will all be fine!

scoob, I'll give you an idiot moment. I'm a big fan of the band Chicago, and have seen them live many times. They were appearing a couple months ago here in Dallas, and I bought my ticket months early. On the day of the show, a Saturday, I went out and did a few errands, came back home, watched some TV, and went to bed thinking it had been a nice day. I woke up at 3am and sat bolt upright as I realized that I'd totally forgotten about the show! Talk about feeling like a big ol' idiot!!!

We had tickets to American Idol in its big hey-day, Carrie Underwood, and forgot about the concert until 3 days later! It happens.

A Pirate's Life for Me
several years ago we were getting ready for our trip to wdw. as the day was approaching we get an e-mail from the airline about a change in schedule. i was confused because the new flight was leaving a 7pm and my flight was scheduled for 6am. i called to complain about the 12 hour change in the flight only to be told my initial flight was for 6pm.
i had book a 6pm flight over the intended 6am flight. luckily the airline was able to book us on a earlier flight that morning and since they forced the change, i didn't have to pay any fees...
good thing they needed to make a change or it would have been a long wait in the airport if we arrived at 5am...

So I called Disney and rebooked the dinner show on dining plan credits so no charge, for the correct date. That cast member then gave me a different number to call. They had to call the resort and I was on hold for an age, but finally I was told my credit card would be credited for the full amount. I thought they might at least want the cancellation fee off me. So a great Disney customer service day

That is great news Scooby!
Listen, I've felt the same way when I forgot to bring my ressie number to Mama Melrose's. They didn't have us in the computer system and I told them I had made a reservation months ago. I felt sooo stupid because I didn't bring my confirmation number and I usually do!!! What are the odds?
When have brought our confirmation numbers for years and I never get asked or they have never lost my reservation in the system...the ONE time I forget and BOOM! We got lost in the system. Sheeesh!
So glad it worked out for you!

Well when someone takes the time and money to come all the way across the pond, over and over again, just to visit WDW, it's just good business sense to make that person happy; I'm really glad they did the right thing, but I'm not a bit surprised.

I was certainly wondering where this was left off! GOOD FOR YOU! I figured either it was all ok or it had ended quite badly. LOL.....
