I can't seem to post my pictures, some advise please?

I've tried to upload pictures to my album here on MP, but I keep getting the ! telling me my pictures are too big.
I assume it has nothing to do with cropping the picture, I am as you can tell tech-impaired. I just really didn't want to put my family pictures on a public site like snapfish or photobucket. Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks

Have you read the FAQ about posting pictures on MousePlanet?

If you would prefer, you can also attach an image that is within the size guidelines (400x400 px, 20kb)

So your pictures have to be no bigger than 400 pixels (if it's not a square, the longest side has to be 400 pixels or smaller,) and the file itself has to be smaller than 20 kb when you save it.

Your photo editing software should be able to do this but I don't know which software you use to tell you how to fix it.

She's asking about uploading to the MP albums that each user has in his/her profile, not how to add an image to a post.

Tulabelle, I have had trouble with the albums here recently, and I wonder if there is a bug in the software. I've asked about it and hopefully we can find out!

Anyone who was having difficulty uploading photos to your albums, please give it another try. We identified a couple of problems and fixed them, which should hopefully resolve it.
